Extremely disappointed with the Kia Gary Rome service department. Our family has one vehicle, which is exactly why we specifically use and rely on their valet service. On the day of our service, we received a call at **5:30 PM—right before closing—**telling us our car was ready for pickup. That alone was confusing and stressful, since our car was supposed to be returned via valet. Immediately, panic set in for our family. How were we getting to work the next morning? How were we getting our child to daycare? We asked these questions and were given no answers. To make matters worse, management was not available, no one took responsibility, and employees simply went home for the day. As a result, my husband had to pay for an Uber and rush over around 6 PM, while we were in the middle of trying to make dinner for our family, just to retrieve our own vehicle—something we never should have had to do. We have used this service frequently in the past, which makes this even more disappointing. I was hoping for basic communication, accountability, and kindness. Instead, we were left stressed, unsupported, and scrambling at the end of the day. Please be aware: if a problem arises here, you may be left without a solution and made to deal with it on your own. That is not the level of service I expect, especially from a dealership offering valet service to families who depend on it.

The review link i was sent for dealer rater does not work. So I am leaving a Google review instead because I want to commend the team at gary rome service department. Kay Davis is the best service advisor on your team. My last oil change months ago left a lot to be desired and I wasn't very happy with the level of service. I intentionally scheduled this most recent appointment with Kay Davis due to my experience with her in the past I was sure this would be a better experience. The moment I arrived Kay was ready with a smile on her face to get me checked in. The service was much quicker than the original estimate which was nice.But my car came out completely spotless and Kay even had it running outside and warm for me. Kay has perfect customer service and should be commended for it.Thank you for making this visit much better.I will continue coming to this location for Kay alone :)

1/31/26 update: one stop shop for all- quick and efficient emmisions/VIN check. Gary Rome Kia makes it easy to get everything g done in one place 10/4/25 update: Also had my first service at Gary Rome Kia on the fly. Originally scheduled for a later time, i found myself with a day of errands and due to my upcoming holiday schedule, needing to take care of some preventative maintenance earlier. Made contact thru the app/ website about the possibility of getting in last min, on a Saturday no less. They called me within 5 mins and I was working out a time slot that afternoon. Stopped in and saw Kay and she handled everything quickly and efficiently. Every contact and experience has been positive and welcoming in dealing with Gary Rome Kia and owning my first Kia. This was my first time shopping, nonetheless buying a newer car in some time. I had spent at least 6 to 8 weeks looking online at used and newer cars, then visiting every type of dealership, including Ford, Dodge/Jeep, GMC, Chevy, Suburu, Toyota, carmax, carvana etc...... The first time i walked on the lot at Gary Rome Kia, Dan walked out and asked if there was anything he could help with. The typical response is, of course, " im just taking a look around ." Without any salesman from the start, it was let me know if i can answer any questions or can help, and i will let you take a gander. From the beginning and straight thru to purchase, it was no pressure and a calm, easy-going demeanor. I also stopped in at least 5 to 6 times to ask questions, test drive, look around, and the sort and as much email. No ego or frustration from anyone, and was constantly told, " You're the one buying the car and have to like and be comfortable with every aspect of it, not us." Everyone was patient and kind. I wouldn't hesitate to shop nonetheless buy from Gary Rome Kia again.

I took my Kia here for its first oil change, tire rotation, and service check. It was a great visit! The service rep didn't try to sell me services beyond what I asked for, the turnaround time was quick, and they washed and VACUUMED my car for free. And the Customer Lounge had free snacks, no vending machines. Yay!

I got my car back from having recall work done with several scratches in the steering wheel. The service manager insisted that it could not have happened at the dealership. I am the only person who drives the car and I would have noticed the scratches before. As I noticed them right away as my hands moved on the steering wheel.
