Just bought a certified pre owned 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL and had the BEST experience. I had been shopping all over San Diego for a used car. I was looking at Honda but something told me to look at Hyundai and I'm so glad I did. The cars are absolutely beautiful. Kam Pasha took such great care of me as well as Darius in fiance. It was honestly a great experience from start to finish! I highly recommend!

I recently purchased a car from here and have been very disappointed with the people we interacted with and service that my family received. When looking at the vehicle, the salesman pointed out that there was a crack in the windshield and this was the main area of concern for us before purchasing the car. They reassured us that they can fix it easily and it wouldn’t be an issue and even personally scheduled an appointment with their repairman to fix it more afterwards. Upon arriving, the repairman told us that it was poorly filled in and would further crack and the only fix was to replace the entire windshield. He informed the Hyundai dealership of this issue and after many back and forth over the phone where at first they didn’t want to pay for the repair at all to agreeing to pay half, but even then the price is still too steep and we tried to discussed this with them and they didn’t budge. We paid the full price for the car with no markdowns and they promised and reassured us that the windshield crack would be no issue. In addition, we had the Clean Car program and upon mentioning it, the salesman and sales manager made us feel less appreciated for having it and often used it against us when discussing plans to buy the car and to fix it. Throughout the entire experience of buying my first car to trying to get the car’s windshield fixed, my family and I felt undervalued and the joy of buying a car was gone. The Hyundai Dealership is a large and reputable brand and we expected that they would uphold their words, but our expectations were too high.

I’ve purchased a number of new cars in the past. Frankly, I dread the negotiating and closing experiences, and the time drain it takes. But my experience with Kamaran Pasha was different when I recently purchased a 2026 Ionic 5 limited. He was polite and professional. The financing was not a high-pressure experience like most. I was very pleased.

Hyundai Tried to Charge Me $1,842 for a Repair I Fixed in 10 Minutes for $84 If you ever want to experience what it feels like to be absolutely taken for a ride, skip the amusement park and head straight to Hyundai El Cajon. I dropped my Tucson off because my right headlight warning came on and my trunk wasn’t opening all the way. Nothing dramatic. I explained up front that my budget was tight because I’m getting married this month and didn’t want any “surprises.” Famous last words. Four hours later I get a call. According to them, my entire headlight assembly needed replacing because the wiring harness was “worn.” The quote? A casual $1,042. That’s $762 for the part and $280 for labor. Apparently plugging in a bulb now qualifies as a luxury service. Then they inform me the trunk struts need replacing too. Another $800. For two struts. I actually laughed out loud because at that point the numbers were starting to feel like improv comedy. I told them I’d think about it. Translation: I was trying not to cry in the parking lot. A few days later I decide to look at the issues myself, because apparently I’m more qualified than whoever “diagnosed” my car for four hours. Here’s what I discovered: • AutoZone sells the trunk struts for $32 each. • They click in with zero tools. Took me 30 seconds per side. • No “holy” $520 parts required. No $280 labor required unless you charge per heartbeat. Then came the headlight. I open the compartment with my bare hands and immediately notice something interesting. The wiring harness wasn’t worn. It wasn’t damaged. It wasn’t faulty. It was missing. And the bulb? Also missing. After searching the car, I eventually found the wiring harness under the spare tire. I wish I were kidding. I bought a $20 bulb, plugged everything back in, and guess what? Perfect headlight. Zero warnings. Two weeks of driving. No issues. A thousand-dollar “fix,” solved for the price of lunch. So let’s recap. Hyundai El Cajon quoted me $1,842 total. The real cost: $84. Time required: 10 minutes. And just to add insult to injury, they charged me $280 for the privilege of returning my car with TWO broken trunk struts instead of one, laughed at me when I asked what exactly they did for four hours, and acted like giving me the part numbers was a grand favor. I’ve never written a negative review in my life, but leaving this unspoken would feel irresponsible. If this is Hyundai El Cajon’s standard of care, I genuinely hope others read this and run for the hills. You will never see me again. And for your sake, I truly hope you get better at everything.
