“Purchased a 2023 BMW from Dwight Ford. The customer service was top notch. I did a short test drive and everything felt great! Unfortunately on the ride home 2 hrs away I noticed an issue with the brakes at highway speeds. After slowing down from highway speeds the vehicle would vibrate due to bad brake rotors. I was under the impression used vehicles go thru a multi point inspection. Seems like it wasn’t the case when I purchased this BMW from them. I’m a bit disappointed because it’s a $2,000 bill with parts and labor after just buying a vehicle where it should have been addressed before it was up for Update: Changing to 1 star due to the dishonest and dismissive response from the store’s GM. To be clear, I test drove the vehicle around several neighborhoods surrounding the dealership. After I left my original review, I received a call from the GM questioning why I didn’t reach out about the brake issue beforehand, despite the fact that I had texted my salesperson, Brandon, the previous morning and never received a response (screenshots attached). Now, the GM has also publicly responded to my review and attempted to gaslight me about how high-performance brakes work instead of acknowledging the actual issue, which is unprofessional and unacceptable. It’s disappointing to receive this kind of response after initially being apologized to for both the brake issue and lack of communication. Unfortunately, this follow-up only made the experience worse.”
