This was my 4th vehicle purchase at Dublin Chevrolet within the last 9 years. Salesperson Alex was very nice and easy to deal with. The deal and purchase took less that an hour and I was already in Finance to finish the deal. I also appreciated the finance guy who made the deal easy to understand and provided me with the warranty option that best fit me.

Vehicle was at the dealership for 7 days to have brake issue repaired. Picked up the vehicle 2 times and still had the issue. The advisor stated that they replaced the brake pump a second time, but the original lasted 10 years. Had to keep calling since I wasn’t getting updates. Requested to speak to a service manager due to the frustrating process. Never heard back from a service manager. I tried emailing, online chat, and calling for a service manager. Sales called me multiple times and each time I explained that I had requested a service manager. Not happy with the repair since the brake pedal still squeaks when pressed. Truck didn’t make that noise prior to the original brake pump failing. Explained that to the advisor, but he said his techs told him it’s normal. Final outcome, this dealership is great to buy a new car from, good deals. I had been taking my truck here for service cause the dealership should know how to fix Chevy’s. Never going to service here again! Don’t go here for service!!

So before I get to the reason for the poor review I will talk about the good things first. The salesman was friendly, knowledgeable super helpful, answered all my questions and was willing to work with me over distance before I picked up the vehicle. A++ Now for the not so good. I purchased a brand new vehicle with literally no miles on it. So maybe I let my guard down with the expectation that everything would be perfect. After I got home I conducted a more thorough inspection. I Found wiring harness clips not attached, one of the rims had a curb mark and the tire had a gash in the sidewall. Minor safety issues but not so thrilled after the fact. Now for the worst part. I discovered the fuel fill tube was leaking fuel and it was leaking onto the exhaust pipe. I just drove this vehicle home multiple hours in over 100 degree weather to find out that it could have caught FIRE! I know the exhaust was extremely hot because after siting for 30 minutes from arriving home I still burn my arm on it trying to determine the issue. I am still horrified thinking about what could have happened to my family if that rig caught fire while driving it home. Luckily I was able to isolate the issue and determine the hose clamps were loose. Upon further inspection I found the fill tube partially kinked along with the breather tube kinked as well. Now for a car nearing a hundred thousand you would think this would not happen. I had to cool off for a few days before leaving this review. Maybe not so much the dealerships fault but they sold me the vehicle and are representing Chevy so they are getting the review! Maybe I’m being over dramatic but putting my family at risk is non-negotiable. This is nothing short of negligent in my opinion. I know some may not have the knowledge or ability to inspect a vehicle but if you want to buy any vehicle NEW or USED inspect it top to bottom with a magnifying glass! I hope nobody falls victim to what could have happened to my family and me. Chevy you should be ashamed! Unacceptable!
