“I strongly recommend that this dealership implement a process to conduct a soft credit pull before making promises about financing. When financing is later denied, the hard inquiry only makes it harder for customers to move forward, ultimately wasting their time and gas. I explained my situation upfront, and my credit report was reviewed before I came in. Luke and other reps were adamant about having me visit. Even after explaining everything to them, “no worries, we can get you in this vehicle” I was told how much I’d need to put down, and I agreed. However, after arriving, the required down payment suddenly increased to over 50%, which I agreed to also, and I still couldn’t get the vehicle. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had buying a car. The lack of transparency and honesty was extremely disappointing. I traveled an hour to be met with false expectations, I transferred funds, and I allocated time for this. I hope you take this feedback seriously and use it to improve your process for future customers.”
