“Ever since buying my first ever Honda at Shottenkirk Honda in Davis I have had a positive experience at the service department! They are always friendly and helpful. My recent experience was especially made less stressful by serviceman, Kevin Davey! It was a major repair but he kept me in the loop before, during, and after repair work was done. He was accurate in estimating cost and time length of repair. He sent a shuttle to come to pick me up when my car was ready for pickup. He contacted me by text after a couple of days had passed just to make sure my car was running as it should! He made me feel like I was his only Honda customer! I highly recommend Shottenkirk Honda and will continue to have my car serviced by them!”

“We are extremely disappointed with our recent experience. My husband called to schedule an oil change and was told to bring the vehicle in at noon that same day. We live in West Sacramento and are juggling multiple medical appointments, so having a confirmed time was important. Noon worked perfectly, which is why he rearranged his schedule to be there as instructed. When he arrived, he was told he did not have an appointment and that he would need one -- and that the wait would be a couple of hours. This was incredibly frustrating. Your staff told him to come in at noon, and then denied that appointment upon arrival. This situation was a complete waste of time and gas, not to mention the added stress it created. Scheduling and communication should be handled more carefully to avoid situations like this. Based on this experience, we have lost confidence in this business. The way this situation was handled reflects a lack of integrity and accountability, and it has seriously undermined our trust. We highly do not recommend this place.”

“I must say I was truly disappointed in the service from this dealership…all besides the sales associate who was very friendly. I was interested in 2025 Honda civic hybrid which was priced right I felt. I went in to negotiate and the sales associate gave me a heads up with what they were going to do….but I was shocked by how they handled themselves. I dealt with Rick for negotiations. I wanted to know the OTD (out the door) price. He went back talked to the financial department and came back with numbers….the car went from $27,800 all the way to $35,000 roughly.Damn near a 10,000 jump with all the additions.I asked them to remove the nonesense just wanted car and tax. So he preceded to remove them but not a specific package.I asked why he didn’t remove it and he said “ I believe that one comes with the car so I can’t.” Wait a second so you’re telling me it comes with the car but you are CHARGING ME! Get out of here with that B.S. I called him out on it and he checked with the financial department so they removed it. He said “Here’s the final quote we removed them all. Will you buy the car now?” I noticed they did but guess what….they left the tax on there for the additional packages they originally quoted me for. So they thought I didn’t notice the tax never changed. I ended up walking out. Glad I did that guy was a joke. Just be mindful people when you go here. Always question and don’t settle. I ended up going to Concord Honda walked in grab the same car….fewer miles, they detailed it, gave me a full tank of gas and guess what….even beat Davis Honda Price. No hassle no headache. I’ll be a repeat customer there for my wife’s car. Davis….do better”
