“It is incredibly frustrating when a brand that prides itself on "human-centric" values leaves its customers stranded with a five-figure bill just for having a life change. While Noah deserves a shout-out for being the only one with an ounce of professional courtesy, the management's radio silence is a poor reflection on the dealership.
I am writing this as a warning to anyone considering a lease at Volvo Weston. While the vehicles themselves are phenomenal, the Volvo brand’s financial structure is a massive liability if you have any uncertainty or changes in your life.
I recently had to terminate my lease early due to a work relocation abroad. Despite being a loyal customer, I was hit with an astronomical $12,000 early termination fee by Volvo Financial Services. The most alarming part? My car had lost 20% of its value in just six months. If you aren't 100% certain of your living situation for the next 3 years, do not choose this brand. Other luxury manufacturers offer far more reasonable buy-out options or termination paths that aren't predatory.
Regarding the dealership specifically:
The Good: Noah. He was the only person who stayed in communication with me throughout this entire ordeal. He attempted to advocate for me and asked management to intervene with Volvo Financial Services on my behalf.
The Bad: Management. Aside from Noah, it seemed the managers completely washed their hands of the situation and essentially went silent once they realized there wasn't a new sale in it for them.
It is deeply disappointing to be treated like a "closed file" the moment a problem arises. If you value customer service that lasts beyond the moment you sign the papers, look elsewhere.”
