“I drove over an hour to have a truly disappointing experience at Toyota of Dartmouth. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was lacking. The woman at the front desk didn’t greet us or even acknowledge our presence.
Our sales representative, Matthew, was dry, disengaged, and seemed uninterested from the start. The interaction felt rushed, as though he didn’t want to be there. After the test drive, we discussed pricing and I shared my ideal number. Matthew said they likely couldn’t meet it but would return with an itemized list. Instead, he came back with only the full sticker price and dealer fees, with no real effort to discuss options. He also made an odd comment, telling us we “should care that the car is certified” because otherwise, it could break down in three months and we’d be “out of luck.” That was hardly reassuring — no buyer wants to hear that from someone trying to sell them a car.
When we tried to continue the conversation with another number, Matthew pushed back unprofessionally before checking with his manager. The manager, Teresa, was equally dismissive and offered “a couple hundred… maybe $300,” At this point we felt uncomfortable so we thanked her she immediately turned and walked away.
To top it off, an employee nearly hit us in the parking lot driving recklessly as we walked to our car.
Overall, this dealership showed poor customer service, unprofessional communication, and no real willingness to engage. I left feeling frustrated, disrespected, and confident I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.”

“I will start by saying that I have no prior experience with Toyota of Dartmouth. I decided to down size my truck and get a 2026 Toyota Tacoma Limited. I had searched the internet for a couple of weeks for trucks and prices. I was looking for a Bronze Oxide truck and found two in stock at the Dartmouth location. My initial contacts were with Kristen & Paula from Internet sales. They were both very professional and helpful lining up an appointment for a test drive and financing options. I went last Thursday 8 January 2026. When my wife and I arrived, we were met by Jim " The Irishman " Renehan. I knew two seconds in we were going to enjoy this process. for starters, Jim is a 10 out of 10. He was very professional and personable. He had great knowledge of the dealership and the truck I was going to look at. The normal dread of going to buy a new car disappeared very quickly. I took the truck for a test drive and was very impressed with it. When we sat down to discuss purchase and trade in options, everything was straight forward and easy to understand. They were spot on with my trade in value. Without a doubt the easiest purchase of a new vehicle I have ever had. The three of us had a " Good Craic" together for 3 hours ( start to finish ) The Business manager, Robert Webber, was great as well. He is very knowledgeable about financing and extended warranties. He made that part of the process easy and enjoyable. I cannot recommend Toyota of Dartmouth enough. A huge THANK YOU to all involved. This is my first Toyota purchase. If there is anyone looking for a new Toyota, Please go to Toyota of Dartmouth for an incredible experience.”

“I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. Melvin was awesome and made the entire process seamless. Then Denise walked me through the process of using all of the features my new car has to offer. Both were very helpful and I am super satisfied with the deal I got. I would recommend Melvin any day of the week. He's very knowledgeable and gave me a fair price.”

“**Updated because I did get a call from the dealership regarding the issue and it's appreciated.
Reviewing Service, without getting any service done yet>> The ASM I dealt with was great and I'm really happy with that end of things.
The biggest issue here is the mall cop working the service bay and lot. Extremely rude, aggressive, and unsavory older guy. Unprofessional is an understatement.
Scolded me when I parked in service parking out on the lot, to go talk to service. ASM had me pull in the bay to get my VIN, no issue, then this guy decided to rush up, open my truck door, and ask me for the keys with an attitude... With my unleashed dog in the backseat. Dangerous and a violation of space and property.
$3k later, same attitude, like I was just taking up his precious (otherwise empty) car bay when I went out to check on the pup and ASM was working the bill.
Hey, Toyota or Dartmouth, this guy is costing you money! I'm hoping for a better experience when I come in for the install this week.”

“Great experience. Friendly sales team, that didn’t drag things out. We were able to get the deal done, quick. I am very happy with my new truck and would shop here again!”
