“⭐ Avoid Dallas Dodge for Service — Terrible Experience with My 2023 Pacifica
I took my 2023 Chrysler Pacifica tonight (gas, non-hybrid) to Dallas Dodge for battery-drain and electrical issues — something these vans are known for. The lights were acting up and it was clearly a charging or parasitic-draw problem. I of course told them the batteries would not hold a charge, I had done that.. Then I read about these particular vans and battery issues (read online if you are thinking about buying even a new one now)
They charged me $200 just to “test” the batteries, technically a diagnostics fee, then said both were “bad” and that the only way to "diagnose" the vehicle was for me to pay $1,250 to replace both batteries first. Something about they need to be new to test.... on and on. you get it..
Those same two batteries cost roughly $400 total retail and are right under the hood — about a ten-minute replacement job. When I mentioned I had a maximum care Mopar extended warranty that covers electrical systems, (expensive)they brushed it off saying “batteries are wear items,” even though the van is only a couple years old with around 40K miles and used daily. I know people who buy used batteries and they last far longer, and both batteries were dead beyond repair, and I drive this van everyday..
I asked to speak with someone familiar with known Pacifica battery and parasitic-loss issues — no one could explain anything beyond “the batteries are dead.” The service manager was on vacation, the main manager who I actually sat down with, even said, “We’re in the business to make money.”
So I took the van back. I’ll replace the batteries myself (for a fraction of their quote) and was going to return once it’s running again so they can see what the real issue is, but then the 200 "diagnostics" fee ruined that. This kind of price-gouging and lack of accountability is unacceptable, especially for a $45,000 vehicle and a dealer that sells the brand. I have to find another dealer now, car under an expensive warranty and they can't tell me what's wrong with it until I give them a small fortune.. Sounds like its in the plan right?
Summary:
$200 diagnostic fee to confirm what I already told them. dead battery
$1,250 quote for $400 worth of batteries. (Mopar versions)
No genuine troubleshooting or technical explanation. I have a sheet that has really no other test on it.. I was not happy about it and that's the big thing, I am wrong, they are right , nothing further, after all that..
Mopar warranty ignored.
I’ll be continuing and updating this review as the situation progresses and as I deal directly with Mopar and other service centers. People deserve to know how this dealership treats customers and how poorly Chrysler stands behind its own vehicles.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Excellent Service and Friendly Staff!
I originally purchased my Jeep from AutoNation in North Richland Hills back in April, but today I stopped by the Dodge, Jeep, Ram & Chrysler dealership next door while taking my dad to pick up his car from the GMC service center. I asked one of the servicemen if they could top off my washer fluid, and not only did he happily help, but he also noticed that I was due for an oil change. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was welcoming, and it’s clear they really care about their customers. I’ll definitely be back for future services!”

“I’m writing this review with deep disappointment after visiting the dealership that originally sold us our 2019 Jeep Latitude. We responded to multiple outreach attempts regarding a potential buyback offer and brought the vehicle in for a fair evaluation.
Our Jeep has had consistent maintenance, including a brand-new battery and regular oil changes. It was in excellent working condition when we arrived. However, after a short inspection conducted out of our view, the vehicle was returned with significant new issues:
The flaps inside the hood had been pulled down
We were told there was creaking in the front end, which had never been an issue prior to this visit
And most concerning: the car died today after a sharp turn, suggesting the battery—installed recently—may have been tampered with during their handling of the vehicle.
We were also told the buyback value would be lowered due to tire wear, despite three tires being in good shape and only one showing signs of potential replacement.
This was a trusted dealership for us, which makes this experience feel even more violating. We were made to feel as if the vehicle had existing problems to justify a reduced offer, but the sudden appearance of these issues—especially the electrical failure—is deeply unsettling.
I hope no other customer has to leave a dealership questioning whether their vehicle was mishandled or manipulated to impact valuation. Transparency and integrity should not be optional.”

“Fantastic dealership to work with. Non nonsense buying experience from start to finish. I highly recommend Dallas Dodge for all your new and used car needs. Started my process via text. Showed up to test drive the vehicle which was ready and waiting. Discussed numbers and made a deal that was extremely reasonable. Finance was quick and simple. Left extremely happy!”
