I had a great experience purchasing my 2014 Ram, and it was all thanks to Ernesto Munoz. He was professional, knowledgeable, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Ernesto took the time to answer my questions and made sure I was comfortable with my purchase from start to finish. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy and helpful when buying a vehicle, Ernesto is the person to go to. I would only recommend Ernesto Munoz to anyone looking to buy a car. He truly made the experience a positive one.

I visited two dealerships today and left empty-handed. Clay Cooley CDJR - Arlington refused to assist me unless I allowed them to run a credit application, despite my having my own financing. So, I walked out! At Clay Cooley CDJR Dallas, they contacted me via phone and text to confirm that the 2021 white Dodge Challenger AWD I was interested in was available for a test drive. However, when I arrived, I was told that the vehicle was still in "transit." Remember, I drove nearly four hours from Spring, Texas, with my two children specifically for this test drive, only to be informed that I would have more "leverage" in person. My experiences with both dealerships have solidified my belief that this auto group is dishonest, arrogant, nonchalant, and inconsiderate. I will be sharing this ordeal on all social media platforms. This level of business behavior is absolutely unacceptable! It’s no wonder their parking lots are full—the only thing being sold is LIES, not cars!

This place is amazing!!! The customer service alone makes you want to bring your vehicle here. They diagnosed the issues then explained what they needed to do and gave an estimate on the cost. Military friendly and outstanding professionalism through the whole team. Jose was great advisor that handled everything!

⭐ Review – Clay Cooley Ford My experience at Clay Cooley was one of the most dishonest dealership experiences I’ve ever had. I negotiated a 2024 Ford Edge with the salesperson, Ernie. We discussed pricing multiple times, and I clearly stated that any number had to be OTD (out-the-door). I reconfirmed this in writing via text before going in to finalize the deal. When it was time to close, Ernie suddenly stated the price was “OTD plus taxes and fees.” That directly contradicted what had been discussed and confirmed in writing. When I stood up to leave, he called me a liar to my face, claiming we never agreed on that number — even though I had the text messages proving otherwise. Only after I walked out to my car did someone from finance come outside to apologize and say it was a “misunderstanding.” Ernie later returned and claimed he had “not read the message carefully.” That explanation was not credible. Despite that, I proceeded with the deal. In finance, I worked with Humberto. He repeatedly pushed EasyCare and several other add-ons. I clearly declined all extras multiple times and made it very clear I did not want anything additional. When it came time to sign digitally, I began reviewing the contract carefully. Humberto repeatedly pressured me to click “sign all” immediately, saying it was faster and that everything matched what we agreed on. Under pressure and trusting that the contract reflected our agreement, I signed. Later at home, I discovered EasyCare had been added anyway. That was not a misunderstanding — it was intentional. When I attempted to cancel the EasyCare contract, Humberto falsely told me I had to return to the dealership in person to cancel it. That was untrue. After researching the policy myself, I confirmed cancellation can be handled remotely. EasyCare later confirmed the contract was voided and that the dealer is responsible for returning the credit to my lender. Since then, my emails have gone unanswered. Additionally, I explicitly requested that my credit be pulled only once. They ran my credit three times. There was also the inspection issue. The vehicle was delivered to me without a completed inspection. A week later, I was told I needed to drive back — one hour each way — so they could perform inspection in order to complete registration. That should have been handled before delivery. It is not the customer’s responsibility to fix dealership oversights. I have purchased many vehicles in my life. I understand how OTD pricing works. I understand finance contracts. The issue here is not confusion or language. It is a consistent pattern of pressure tactics, denial of agreed terms, and misinformation. Transparency, accountability, and respect for the customer were clearly not priorities here. I strongly advise anyone considering doing business with this dealership to review every document carefully and not rely on verbal assurances.

Great experience buying a new Jeep Wrangler from the new Clay Cooler CDJR on LBJ in NE Dallas. I have owned a Wrangler for 13 years, so I knew what I wanted this time: another Wrangler. I reached out to several dealers, as there were a couple of dozen similarly equipped Wrangler Saharas on various car lots around Dallas. As I zeroed in on my preferred colors and specific configurations, I visited a couple of lots to see cars in person. After further email and text communications with 6 other dealerships, I drove to this dealership to see the car that best met my needs. From that point on, it took less than 3 hours to test drive my new car and one other, make a deal (they honored my researched price), do the finance dance, and get the drive-off orientation. Eddie, Eddie, Jeremiah, Bobby, and Cesar were all terrific to work with. I look forward to returning for service visits and, hopefully, for my next Jeep. Happy customer!
