“I posted on Facebook looking for a dealership after putting so much money into my car and not having a reliable so to speak vehicle anymore. A few people recommend Kevin borton and I had given him a call and I probably texted him alot because I was so nervous because of the interactions ive had with dealers in the past. They got me in a new well new to me vehicle and absolutely answered all my questions and very honest people. Him and Dallas will forever have my business from here on.out . Also reading some of the reviews for service was nerve racking, but those reviews might be from some people who didnt like the answers or responses they receive. Ive had nothing but good experience.”

“6-19-2025 - Thank You Mr. Wimberly for reaching out today - I find it simply amazing that in 2018 while I was being fleeced in your Service Garage Debacle, nobody with the last name of Wimberly would even come talk to me - yet 7 years later, with a simple 1 Star Google review, I magically get telephone time with the concerned owner. 1 or the other happened here: Either the entire Wimberly family has deaf ears, OR the service manager did a fantastic job of shielding the owners about the service debacles that were happening in their very own shop. Which is it? Joe Jilik State Farm, screwed me out of the towing bill, the day I rescued my F150 from your shop - they got a 1 Star Google review as well. I’m not just picking on Ford. Caveat Emptor - see carcomplaints.com for the gory details. Now I understand why locals say there’s no such thing as a Ford dealer in southwest lower Michigan. North or South, Wimberly’s the best legalized wallet thinning agent, by fountain pen, in Michigan. Never do business in Michigan. 6-19-2025 - reposted from car complaints.com Original post 3-15-2018 Mid to late March this truck started running a little rough, so I took this truck to C.Wimberly Ford for a simple tune up. This thing has been babied since the day I took delivery. A couple of hours after we dropped it off, the service manager calls and tells me there is a huge problem with the valve train, and he recommends a new engine to the tune of $11,000. My instructions were "Rebuild the top end" since they found what I was lead to believe was a "part gone bad". They instantly complained that parts were not readily available and this would take 10-14 days and that was considered a generous time and parts estimate of $8000. So we waited, and waited. No word from anyone when this repair would be finished. Enough is enough! After calling around - I managed to find a reputable custom shop with some open rack time, that would take over where C.Wimberly Ford's Epic Fail left off. 5-3-2018 After eating $1800 worth of parts they had ordered for this science project, I had my truck hauled out of the C.Wimberly Ford dealership. I did discover they had left my valve cover off the entire time it was sitting outside (6 weeks) waiting for parts that were never going to show up anyway. This is the action of either a "Novice" mechanic, unworthy of the position, or a service manager with a pout on. I was a journeyman mill mechanic 30 years, this type of action looks more like sabotage to me. Since sales are in the commode - Fords new corporate mandate - "Anyone on our property, who isn't spending $50,000 on a new vehicle, will spend $10,000 in our garage"! The service manager only became nice, when I pulled out my Midland video recorder, and communicated I wanted all my parts "undamaged". So look for an update here in the near future about this vehicle once I find out what's really wrong with it, and have it corrected - and I'll even reveal the shop I took it to. You asked me “why the 1 Star review”? Combining the facts, with the issues, it’s because Wimberly Ford went so far outta the way to Earn That 1 Star Review”

“Did not end up purchasing a vehicle here, but felt confident & safe if I was to do so. I was really hoping they'd be able to find the car I was looking for, but my request was specific. They tried & they kept in contact with me without any pressure or sales pitches. Sincere questions on how my search was going & honest answers to the issues I kept running into. Tom Ferrier was great in responding to me & providing me great insight & information. I was not the easiest customer to deal with, I was handling all communications via email, which I understand makes things a bit more of a challenge, but Tom did it with grace. I would recommend & feel confident with buying a quality vehicle here.”

“Great buying experience. Tom was easy to deal with and understood my needs for a truck. We found one that worked and quickly worked out a deal. I walked out happy with the vehicle and the price.”

“Lets start with the obvious...an AMAZING place to.do business. My father in law had been here multiple times for autos, and now I may say that I too am very satisfied, as a client. I searched high and low, while looking..and sure enough, this was the place. Kevin git rught back to me, and we got set, to see what wed be looking to do. Unlike other dealerships, they prepared and ckeaned the vehicle, so I could make a good choice. They sought to make me happy in my pricing, and nailed the details. Super easy to work with and they seemingly took a genuine interest. He cane up with a price, and I thought he was earning my biz, to not play silly games...and let me get away. He stayed on top of it and we are signing for it today. No pressure, no games, no weird salesman quotes (which is odd, since Ive owned over 50 new cars in my life, and Ive heard some doozies). This will be my GO-TO, and my recommened, business for autos. As well, they offer lifts and more, to get you rolling.”
