“I went to Rock Ridge because they had a car advertised online. I made the purchase with Dahan who made the whole process very easy. He is knowledgeable and quick thinking and he is an excellent salesman if you are looking for a car. I received the price advertised. Then comes the finance dept with Sahtiekqua. She is also very quick with the sales pitch of extended warranty protection. I did get a warranty but was a little disturbed by all the different coverages and how much it adds to the cost of the vehicle. She finally sold me a warranty after she said that the car would need a timing belt replaced at 90,000 miles. Problem is my car is equipped with a timing chain and she really didn't know about my car. I am happy with my purchase but to tell me that it costs $3600 to replace a timing belt and that the warranty covers it if I purchase it, is a little far fetched. I really never wanted an extended warranty but walked out happily with a 125,000 mile warranty at a discounted price since the transmission will probably die before that. I also didn't get the rate I was offered at three other dealers which was between 4.99 and 6 percent. Overall a four star experience and I knew I would get suckered into the extended warranty.”
