“What started off as a great experience quickly turned into a nightmare. AVOID NISSAN OF COSTA MESA AT ALL COSTS. I purchased a 2020 Mercedes glc 300 from them and the next day the check engine light came on, I took it back and they scanned it in and the vehicle engine had an error code saying it failed. They took their sweet time to unwind the deal and I couldn’t be more dissatisfied with their level of customer service. The nonchalant responses I received in an urgent situation to get my funds returned felt like weeks. Here we are in a new year (January 2026) 2 months later and I received a letter from the dmv that they did not do their due diligence and they LEFT THE CAR IN MY NAME. I have written statement of facts, release of liability and all necessary paperwork and pictures time stamped with location and legal paper trail of every step from day 1. I called the DMV TODAY 01/13/2026 and immediately reached out to Jessica and left a voicemail with the general manager just to receive a nonchalant response from Jessica in finance. The level of incompetence to be put in a position of the unknown with liability concerns is a violating feeling. I will be taking immediate appropriate actions. Make sure to always document everything when purchasing a vehicle anywhere. This dealer is a SCAM. DMV, BAR and necessary sectors will be notified of this dealers negligence if necessary. 01/13/2026 2:52 P.M.”
