“I was in the market for a newer vehicle. I had been doing my research and found a vehicle that I was interested in at the CarMax in CT. They shipped it to the Albany, NY location and did their thing. In the mean time, I was able to to take care of my things on my end and when it was time to make an appt to go test drive/pick up the car, EVERYONE, from the ladies on the phone to the professionals working in Albany were FABULOUS!! I drove to the Albany location, arrived about 30 minutes early and they got me right in. I took it for a test drive, made my decision, did all the paperwork and drove the car home the very same day!! I can't say ENOUGH POSITIVE things about my experience working with CarMax! I would recommend to anyone and would do business with them again in a heartbeat!! “We sold our car to CarMax, and the experience was exceptionally easy from start to finish. The website was straightforward, and we completed the entire process online. We followed the website’s instructions regarding required paperwork, scheduled an appointment, and were greeted promptly upon arrival. Our representative, Brandon, was friendly, professional, and highly competent—particularly with DMV paperwork and CarMax procedures. He took the car for inspection and returned within about 10 minutes. He even complimented us on how well we had taken care of the vehicle. He then provided us with a bag containing the license plates to return to the DMV. The paperwork process was seamless. A notary was on-site to witness and sign the documents. Brandon briefly stepped away to file the paperwork and returned just a few minutes later with our check in hand. We were completely finished shortly thereafter. As a helpful note for others: be sure to bring all required documents listed on the website—title, registration, lien information (if applicable), and a valid state ID.
