The woman who actually handles collision inspections and estimates looked at my car and immediately told me that the only way to get an estimate from them is to leave my car at the dealership. She said they don’t do upfront estimates at all — they take your car, lock it in, and only then create the estimate, contact insurance, and start the repair process. This is completely opposite of how every other body shop works, where you first get a full written estimate before deciding anything. At Honda of Serramonte, you’re forced to surrender your car just to find out what the damages even are. If you’re not planning to leave your car there for who knows how long just to get an estimate, stay away from this place.”
