“CAUTION ADVISED.
I had a simple repair (diagnosed by a trusted repair shop in 15 minutes for free). They suggested I go to a dealership because it was only a couple of hours of work and the parts would be significantly cheaper at the dealership since dealer costs are so much less than what repair shops have to pay.
What a huge waste of time and money.
Scheduled an appointment and dropped off my car. Told them what was wrong. After two days and multiple calls, I finally got a quote.
The diagnosis was the same - just needed a part replaced; but the quote was almost $2000 HIGHER!!
They claimed that while it seemed simple, the repair was "very complex" and required hours and hours of labor. It wasn't. It didn't.
Then, they upcharged the parts to 50% MORE than what other Ford Dealerships charge for them RETAIL!
When I declined the opportunity to pay the ridiculous quote, they told me I had to pay $230 "diagnostic fee' - remember, this is an issue so simple that another repair shop diagnosed it and gave me a quote in 15 minutes - FOR FREE!
I'm sure there are some honest dealership service departments. Landers definitely isn't on that list for me.
I guess they just assume people don't have access to the internet or other repair shops - or are just so trusting that they'll pay whatever they tell them.”

“Emily in the Service Area was great. She told me my truck would be ready in a couple days. She had a courtesy driver take me home. The repairs were done as promised. It was a very good experience. I will definitely use Landers Ford Collierville again. Thanks”

“Had to wrap my truck in lemons after several months of landers not doing anything about the electrical issues. They told me just use my gap insurance…. After driving the truck to headquarters they finally agreed to cover half of the cost I was upside down. Signed the paperwork and they were supposed to pay the truck off. After about a week I went to landers to see what was the hold up. They finally gave me paperwork saying it was paid off the day before. If a dealer can’t fix a truck and can’t figure out the buying part, why should they be selling trucks…. Stay far away from this place, nothing good can come out of it!”
