“UPDATE: updating to 4 stars due to the service manager in Coeburn doing everything he can to make things right and help out on service costs, and the parts department for helping out on prices as well for my air intake box/hose. I have had a few problems with the truck, but they are continuing to be more than happy to help and still maintaining a professional demeanor. After taking the truck back, they fixed the undercoating mess free of charge as well. I’ll start off by saying that Sam Meade is the salesman to go to. Tyler in finance also got me a great rate on my 2022 Silverado. That’s why this gets 3 stars. Now for the bad. 1. I was told I’d get a free undercoating job, which I did. But it was less than subpar. The person that done it didn’t even attempt to not spray it on my truck or make sure he even got it all. He was completely done in less than 30 minutes. I was told up front it’s not going to be a “professional” job as if I went somewhere and had it rhino lined. So I wasn’t expecting perfect, but I was expecting decent work. Pictures are included. 2. Morgan McClure Coeburn service said my 3.0 duramax would be $50 for labor for an oil change, but $15 for my gas truck. The oil change process is no different. You pull the plug, change the filter, and fill it back up. 3. Not Coeburn related, but in Castlewood, they put on my leveling kit for my Sierra, but forgot to put my sway bar nuts back on. 4. Coeburn and Castlewood can’t make their minds up on what they want to charge. Coeburn said they wanted nearly $500 just to change my CV axle. I called Russ in Castlewood, he said about $150. I got it done within an hour. 5. The truck I just purchased, was from Michigan so it had quite a bit of surface rust. No one’s fault, but that’s why I got the free undercoating. The problem I had besides that, is that the truck’s frame and underbody was still CAKED with sand and salt. Overall pretty unhappy with them besides just sales and finance. Parts has helped out some as well for some miscellaneous things. Mainly their service department not making up their minds on a price, and whoever done the undercoating job on this vehicle. Hopefully they do something to make this right, but we shall see.”
