“I’ve had multiple experiences with the service department at Gary Mathews Motors in Clarksville, TN, and I feel compelled to share them. I’m not here to ruin a reputation but to help others know what to expect.
1. Every visit, when I pull into the service bay, I’m never greeted. I have to hunt down staff, and they casually dismiss me to different people. It’s poor customer service.
2. Before holiday leave, I got an oil change. The drain plug was stripped, causing an oil leak all the way to North Carolina. No heads-up. I had to pay for another oil change out of state.
3. While I was deployed, my significant other brought the truck in for a battery issue. They disconnected custom wheel-well lights and didn’t reconnect them. Also, my running boards stopped extending. They blamed rust—impossible in a few hours. They only fixed it after I called directly.
4. One time, an employee sat next to me and took photos of women entering the building. I confronted him, and instead of addressing it, the dealership turned on me and escorted me out.
In conclusion, I now drive 50 minutes to a different dealership. If you value professionalism, take your business elsewhere.”

“Jordan at Gary Mathews Motors has been a great help when we decided to get a new vehicle. He even brought the car out to us to take a look at when we could not get to the dealership. He went above and beyond to make the process easier for us. We will definitely be buying from them again.”

“Jordan was very helpful and ran around with us for hours making sure I found something I loved at the price point I was looking for. Feels like he made the impossible happen for us! We are very happy with this service!”

“Im not usually one to write a bad review, but my experience here has NOT been pleasant.
Firstly I wanna say the salesman will was a good guy and this is not against him personally. I bought a used 2020 ram about a month ago and within the first week I noticed the back glass leaking water into the cab. Called and took it in. They said my back glass and 3rd brake light were under warranty and they'd replace the 3rd brake light and re-seal my window. Ok cool as long as it fixes the leak.
The "fix" was completed and I waited a few days to make sure the sealant had cured. I tested it and the leak is still in the exact same place. Now im being told that any additional work will come out of my pocket, even though their "fix" was not effective. Now I am stuck with a leaky truck that I've had for less than a month. I feel like this should have been caught when they washed the truck to detail it for sale, and shouldn't have been sold in this condition.
Now its up to me to pay a 3rd party glass shop to fix this, since they dont want to stand behind their work. I cant recommend this place.”

“My Ram was sent here from another shop in town to get the valve body programmed. Well I get a call on the way to work from the police department, the tech decided to take my truck home and someone backed into my truck. The police called me before the dealership to tell me about it. They didn't do anything to try to rectify the situation, give me service credit, offer to fix it, nothing. Will never use this dealer and will advise anyone I know to never go here for any reason”
