“Got an oil change at Menieke for my 21 Atlas last summer. Upon inspection, they noticed my water pump was leaking. In July 2025, I decided it take it to the dealership for repair instead because I still had an active warranty that would cover the cost. They repaired (or so I thought) the issue. Fast forward to February of 2026, I scheduled an appointment with VW Clarksville to repair a broken hood latch and to get an oil change. They told me it would be $520 to fix the latch (which seemed a high price but I didn’t really have another option). When they did their inspection, I was informed that it would be an additional $385 to repair the latch. The $520 was just to take the tire off to manually open the hood and inspect where the latch was broken. If I opted to not pay the additional $385, then I would have to pay the $520 to access the hood each time I needed an oil change. But not only did they take all that money to replace a simple hood release latch, they told me my water pump was leaking and would be an additional $1200 to repair. When I called to ask why it was leaking when they (supposedly) just repaired it in July, the answer was “we didn’t repair the water pump, we only repaired the thermometer”. Even though I took the vehicle in last July specifically to have them repair the water pump because it would be covered under my extended warranty. Now the warranty is expired and I would have to pay out of pocket for something I already took it in for them to fix. Not only will I be selling my Atlas in the coming weeks because of all the issues I have had in just 1 year of owning it, I will recommend nobody go to VW of Clarksville for any type of service for their vehicle. This is not directed at anyone there personally. Everyone I encountered was very friendly. But I do not feel the quality of service I received on my car is worth anything near what I have had to pay.”

“I went into Volkswagon of Clarksville on New Year's Day ( yes they were open!) to look at a vehicle that was online. I had called about it and had spoken with Alex who was expecting me when I arrived. I ended up purchasing a different Atlas and Alex was absolutely wonderful! Alex is very kind and knowledgeable! There also was no pressure to purchase. I met with several people there that day including, Steven, the general manager and the man in finance who I can't recall his name but was very nice and helpful! Everyone was kind and helpful to help me get the best vehicle and the best price. I highly recommend going here and ask for Alex for a great experience in buying a new or used vehicle!”

“I took my daughter to Volkswagen to purchase a used car. Our salesperson was Alex! I cannot brag enough on his personality, helpfulness and willingness to provide a safe reliable and affordable vehicle for my daughter! I would go back a hundred times over! Everybody that we came in contact with was very kind, friendly and super helpful! Kudos to the management and staff! I was so pleasantly overwhelmed and pleased with our entire experience that I would recommend Volkswagen of Clarksville Indiana to any of my family and friends! PS. Please keep in mind that this photo was taken after a few days of my daughter driving it! They did not sell us a car that was dirty This is due to the weather and her driving lol”

John Bishop is THE EXAMPLE of what a service advisor manager should be. He is stellar in every way and made the experience amazing. They should shoot a training video of this guy to show "how to provide amazing customer service and interactions". Anthony is also stellar and amazingly helpful with my needs.
