“1/5 stars — Disappointed Returning Customer
I came back to this dealership hoping for the same good experience I had before, but left completely let down. What started as an exciting car purchase turned into a frustrating waste of time.
It began with a phone call assuring us the vehicle would be there within the hour — so we made the drive out based on that promise. The car was never there. Instead of being upfront with us, they had us sit down and begin negotiating on a vehicle they couldn’t even confirm they could deliver. They actually wanted us to sign paperwork before we knew whether the car would show up at all. That’s not how you treat customers.
The finance department was another issue entirely. They refused to compete with our Navy Federal rate and became increasingly aggressive when we pushed back. If you don’t firmly put your foot down, they will argue with you and try to wear you down — which is an incredibly uncomfortable experience, especially when you’ve already been misled just to get through the door.
At the end of the day, we wasted a trip, wasted hours of our time, and walked away with nothing — all because of false promises made to get us in the building. I understand that sales is a competitive business, but misleading customers is never acceptable, and it’s especially disappointing coming back as a returning customer who already trusted this dealership.
I won’t be returning, and I’d caution others to get every promise in writing before making the drive.”

Rafael, my sales associate was so helpful and knowledgeable. The head of the finance department was very helpful and worked and offer out that fit my budget. Also Julio from the service team , another nice and helpful employee.”

“I was very nervous about going to the dealership because it was my first time purchasing a car. However, I had such a great sales representative, Miguel Alcasar, who helped me out. He helped me find the right vehicle for my lifestyle, budget, and long-term goals. His focus was on making sure every customer drives away confident in their decision, and that is exactly what happened to me. “Unfortunately, the service has gone downhill. I haven’t had any issues prior. But today I had an appointment for JUST an oil change and tire rotation at 7am with Cristian Ramos. I call to ask if my car is ready around 12pm. Only to be told they cannot provide that information. I show up around 12:10pm to pick up my car, only to find out it’s still not ready! Cristian is TOO busy and now where to be found. After waiting around 30 minutes. I am finally allowed to pay. Then Cristian walks away. Doesn’t even walk me to my car. Only to find my car keys taken apart and missing. Cristian once again is NOWHERE to be found. I paid, but my keys are gone and I can’t leave. So now I have to walk around asking someone random to find my keys. After searching, the random man finds it and I kindly ask him to replace my keys the way they were. Put all three parts together. Lastly, I know the car washes are normally complimentary at the dealership. But I’ve had my car washed EVERY single time in the past. But for some reason, this time it wasn’t. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Lastly, overall the service here was not great. I had WAY BETTER service with the Honda Dealership in Kearny Mesa area. Highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. Oh AND to add on, he claimed to call the number on file after 2 hours apparently. Doubled checked the call log to find nothing. Then I asked him what number, he stuttered and said it was a text. Then he said a text. Get your story straight? Once again no text. He obviously doesn’t care.”

“I wanted to start saying that Marshall from Honda Chula Vista was great! Very attentive and made sure I was taken care of. He knew my situation and he made everything possible to get me in another car. I love my new car.. If you are looking for someone to help you get into an affordable car. He is the guy to see. I want to say thank you Marshall you went over and beyond. Very pleased customer!!”
