“Writing this after our second experience with this dealership, and we truly cannot say enough good things about this location. Across the board, the professionalism is unmatched. Every employee goes above and beyond to help you find exactly what you want, within reason, and they do it with kindness, patience, and a great sense of humor. They somehow manage to make big decisions and inevitable wait times feel far less stressful and far more enjoyable.
Huge shoutout to Rob for his willingness to truly work with me in finding the right vehicle. I needed to see and drive quite a few options before committing, and he never once rushed the process. Matt, the GM, is exceptional with numbers and packaging. He genuinely understands finance and works with you to structure a deal that makes sense.
The finance process itself was seamless. Nearly everything is electronic, and Chris Hallal and the finance team were friendly, clear, and efficient in explaining everything and getting us out the door quickly.
This is our second lease with Southern VW Greenbrier, and we will absolutely be back. Possibly lifetime customers. They will even bring in vehicles from other dealers if what you want is not on the lot.

“Between my wife and I we have purchased at least 10 vehicles from Southern Volkswagen Greenbrier.
Recently, my wife brought her vehicle in to have the oil changed a 2025 Volkswagen Tiequon, that we are leasing she sat in the waiting room for five hours because they were Trying to figure out why the check engine light was on after five hours she left with the vehicle with the check engine light still on. She informed the service department that she would need a car to drive when she brings it back for them to continue to look it over, it took at least a week and a manager's involvement to get her a car to drive.
They had the car for an additional week and finally said they had it fixed.
She went to get it and they told her a week and finally said they had it fixed.
She went to get it and they told her oops we never changed the oil so she left it again still driving the loaner. so she leaves it again for another several days close to a week and goes back to get it. They pull it around and now the check engine light is back on again and at the moment they still have it we will never buy another car from Volkswagen Greenbrier, Matt, the GM will not return any phone calls or messages and then tells me he's gonna be at the dealership all day, Saturday, January 17, 2026 but when we attempted to contact him, he's still not answering any phone calls or text and the dealership says no he's not working today even though he told us he would be there. Terrible customer. Now the car is in Virginia Beach. No one ever told us it would be taken home to test drive or anything ridiculous according to the GPS, the car has Being driven all over the place to Walgreens And God knows where else. I have contacted the president of the southern Auto group Todd Shelton and I’m currently waiting for a response..”
