“The salesman (who no longer works here sadly) was a really nice fellow, sold me a 2013 Tiguan S. The Tiguan has been far from reliable, having both timing chain covers spew oil 3 days into ownership. They fixed it under a 30 day grace period, at least, so bonus points for that! The vehicle has caused me to lose sleep at night (though thats mostly on me for getting a vw). Lot has good intentions, just be careful with what you pick.”

“6 stars if possible. Let me say how thankful and proud I am to have just recently purchased an SUV from Long Hyundai of Chattanooga. This is my 3rd vehicle purchased in the past 15 years. Having Aaron work with us was a complete God-send. I can't thank Aaron Stevenson enough for being so courteous, kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, attentive to detail and responsive to all the questions we had about the buying process. It was smooth as silk and hassle-free. He gave us the best deal ever as he went over and beyond my expectations. I knew I could trust Long of Chattanooga. They have and will always be my default and go-to for our automotive needs. I would also like to thank the friendly staff I have come to expect for being downright cordial and extremely helpful, which of course, includes Aaron. He is such a great asset to the company that he has to get my permission to quit. Thank you, again, Aaron. “The process of buying a car is stressful as it is, but this place manages to take it to another level. I’ve unfortunately made the mistake of purchasing both of my cars here. Most recently, this past June, I traded in my Elantra for a Sonata. Aaron, my salesperson, was fine—he did everything he could to get me into the car I wanted and ultimately succeeded. However, the experience overall was far from smooth. Several cars listed online weren’t even available for sale on the lot, which was incredibly frustrating. On top of that, although I already had a pre-approval, there was a misunderstanding and they decided to run my credit anyway, which I explicitly said I didn’t want or need. From there, everything went downhill. The process of paying off my trade-in took almost a month, and when it finally went through, it still wasn’t paid off in full—which a dealership is supposed to handle completely, regardless of the remaining balance. I had to go back and forth with the finance manager, Sean, a few times before they finally agreed to pay the remaining amount per our contract. To their credit, they were friendly and did provide a check for instant deposit, but the situation was completely unnecessary and should’ve never happened in the first place. At this point, I’m convinced that Long Hyundai is either extremely disorganized or just plain shady. A car purchase is a big investment, and it’s disappointing that it’s not treated that way here. As for the service center, I’ve had a few issues in the past with them not following my preferred oil change schedule, but since purchasing my Sonata, they’ve become more familiar with my preferences and have been accommodating—so at least there’s been some improvement there.”
