“Shively Motors is a unique experience. I was car shopping due to a recent accident, and with the holidays I definitely did not have perfect credit. I appreciate that Shively did not chase me for a sale, it was very different from other dealerships in the area. I requested information and received 2 emails from Shively. Another dealership called me 4 times in 1 day and sent numerous emails. When arriving at Shively I was greeted by a salesman and asked why I was there. After explaining which jeep I was interested in, I was introduced to Taffy. He is a kind, genuine, and a interesting individual. I was initially shown the wrong jeep but Taffy turned it into a great experience. He allowed me to test drive the Jeep I was interested in and the other Jeep, just to compare and to highlight the differences. The test drives were fantastic, Taffy was honest with me and admitted he knew less than he should about Jeep's. However this was my first time driving a Jeep, so it worked well. We both explored the vehicle and asked 1000 questions. Found things that concerned us both and things that exceeded our expectations. Upon finding a tear in the soft top of the Jeep, Taffy was able to get a no-cost repair set up. Getting a loan was easier than I expected. I had a conditional offer from my preferred bank when I walked in the door. However Taffy and Andrew helped me get a better rate and worked with me on payments. Coming from a Ford, I had plenty of unexpected repairs, and a extended warranty actually did help. So I was looking for a extended warranty on the Jeep and Andrew was very informed on the warranty. He didnt push for the sale, he asked what I was looking for and presented options. Overall, it was a good experience. I never felt pressured and when I asked 1000 questions, it never seemed to annoy or upset the staff. As a new Jeep owner, this was a fantastic first impression. Hopefully the Jeep treats me well and I look forward to continuing with the brand.”
