“Van Hyundai is UNETHICAL, UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISHONEST!!
I bought a brand new hyundai palisade from this dealership back in July and have always send it to this dealership for all the maintenance work as well. After 36k miles on my car a CHECK ENGINE light popped up and the engine oil level got really low. I brought my vehicle here for that issue and was told the repair would take one week initially —it’s been over 2.5 weeks and the car is still not fixed. Every time I asked for updates, staff were rude and told me to stop calling about my own car.
The service director Vince was especially disrespectful—he yelled at me, threatened me, and said “let’s talk man to man.” They told me the car was “ready,” then suddenly claimed there was another issue. When I picked it up, the check engine light was still on, and the car was worse than before. Shortly after, it seized, wouldn’t shift to neutral, and left me stranded for hours. Now it won’t even start. There was no engine oil in the engine and they made sure to DRAIN every but of oil from the engine before returning the vehicle to me.
This dealership is a SCAM AND FULL OF CON ARTISTS, harassed me, and returned my vehicle in unsafe condition. Save yourself the stress—do NOT come here. Take your business elsewhere.”

“I went in on a Saturday afternoon and spoke with a gentleman named Ty. He was very knowledgeable and was working with me on getting a new Elantra. After talking numbers I wanted to do a bit of research so I told him I would be back Monday. When I returned Monday Ty was busy helping another customer so he had me speak with a gentleman named Dwayne. Dwayne unfortunately seemed as if me being there was an annoyance to him. When he asked about the numbers I discussed with Ty he immediately told me there was no way the number was right, I explained to my knowledge those were what we discussed. He went and talked to the financing department and came back telling me the cost of the 2025 Elantra was more than the price for a 2026. I asked if that was the case I would like to see some numbers for the 2026 Elantras to which he rolled his eyes and went back into the finance department. He came back out and started explaining the numbers and mid sentence he received a phone call. He answered his phone and got up and walked out of the building without saying anything to me just leaving me sitting wondering what was going on. After a few minutes I just got up and left. Very unfortunate because I was set on buying a car that day and Dwayne completely ruined the whole experience for me. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because Ty was wonderful to work with.”

“Van Hyundai delivered! Peter in sales was very responsive to my preferred communication. He was very professional and good to his word. He found the exact vehicle I was looking for and had it ready for me asap! Alex in financing took care of the paperwork and I don’t think it could have gone any quicker. I’m very happy with the entire process! Oh and I love my new car. 😉”

“🚫⭐ Negative Stars Only for Van Hyundai – Carrollton, TX
I purchased a 2025 Hyundai Elantra SEL Sport from this dealership last night. At first, I had a really good experience — the salesperson Duane Randall was friendly, and gave me what felt like a fair deal.
Unfortunately, everything changed once I met their finance manager, Alex Wagrowski. Even though I clearly said no, he convinced me and added a useless Platinum Protection Plan to my contract. He claimed he could lower my interest rate from 6.69% to 4.49% through a supposed “Wells Fargo coupon,” which made it look like my monthly payment increased by only $4. Looking back, it feels like a cheap sales tactic just to push that overpriced plan.
That plan barely covers anything — just a few oil changes and minor services — and cost me $1,500 upfront, when my total maintenance could’ve easily been under $1,200. I’m really disappointed that I fell for it.
To make things worse, within 18 hours of purchasing the car, we discovered a tire bulge, which is a serious safety hazard that could have caused a blowout.
Initially, Alex even pressured me to leave a 5-star review right after signing, saying he gave me a good deal. At that time, I did — but after realizing how misleading the process was, I’ve deleted that review and replaced it with this honest 1-star review.
Overall, I’m extremely unhappy with my purchase and the entire experience. The dealership also made us wait over 5 hours during the process.
Please do not purchase a car from this location. It’s a waste of time and money, and they rely on manipulative tactics in the finance office to make you spend more than you should.”
