I brought my 2022 Tahoe on February 16, 2026, specifically for an engine oil consumption diagnosis. My vehicle had a dashboard warning light, and after adding five quarts of oil, the dipstick still showed low. This is a serious safety concern that needed professional diagnosis. When scheduling the appointment, I was explicitly told by the service advisor that they would diagnose the issue first and call me with findings before starting any work. This was not only verbally agreed upon but also documented in my appointment confirmation, which clearly states: "Engine Diagnosis (Noises, Leaks, Other) • oil seems leaking." What actually happened: The dealership performed approximately $1,500 in routine 45,000-mile maintenance services (brakes, differential fluid, etc.) without diagnosing the oil loss issue and without calling me for authorization. When I picked up the vehicle, I was told to come back after 1,000 miles so they could "measure the difference" in oil consumption — meaning they sent me back out on the road in a vehicle with a known, undiagnosed oil loss problem. This is the exact opposite of what I requested and what was agreed upon. When I raised this concern, the dealership claimed "miscommunication" and offered a $500 discount. I view this not as good customer service, but as an attempt to quietly resolve a situation they know they handled incorrectly. Before posting this review, I read through other recent reviews of this dealership. Multiple customers have raised concerns about upselling, lack of communication, and services performed. The consistent pattern in management's responses is to say they are "looking into it" or "taking this seriously." Based on the volume of similar complaints, it does not appear these issues are being meaningfully addressed. I'm not disputing the quality of the work performed it may be fine. What I'm disputing is the complete disregard for the service I actually requested, the verbal agreement that was made, and the potentially dangerous decision to send me away without diagnosing a serious mechanical issue. If you're considering using this dealership for anything beyond basic warranty work, I'd strongly encourage you to get everything in writing, confirm multiple times what will and won't be done, and be prepared to advocate firmly for yourself. The service process here does not inspire confidence. If management responds with a version of "we're sorry, we're looking into it", please know that I have already contacted the dealership multiple times, escalated to GM Corporate, and been offered a settlement I declined because it doesn't address the core issue. This is not a matter of "miscommunication" this is a pattern reflected in other reviews. Proceed with caution. **Update:** I have filed a formal complaint with GM Corporate and am disputing the charges with my credit card company. I will update this review if the situation is resolved satisfactorily.

I have had multiple great experiences dealing with Adriana as well as the entire service crew over at Premier Chevrolet of Carlsbad. Whether it's been advising me on what to be looking for on my C8 and when to get it serviced to keeping me informed on the status on my service. I would highly recommend this service center

Huge thank you to Brian at Chevrolet of Carlsbad for such an amazing car-buying experience! From start to finish, Brian was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure I got exactly what I wanted. I’m thrilled with my new 2026 Chevy Silverado EV, this truck is next-level. The massive touchscreen display, incredible driving range, ultra-smooth and quiet ride, Super Cruise hands-free driving, spacious and leather interior, front trunk (frunk) storage, advanced safety features, and insane acceleration. I was especially grateful that Brian went the extra mile to track down the matte gray color I was looking for as well! If you’re looking for a stress-free, top-tier buying experience and someone who truly goes above and beyond, ask for Brian. I couldn’t be happier with my new truck and highly recommend him and the team at Chevrolet of Carlsbad! 🚘⚡

We bought my 21 Tahoe RST— in FL, and when we got stationed here Premier was the closest Chevy Dealership to our home. I religiously took my Tahoe in for service. I had a warranty repair which had been waiting on parts in FL - end up having parts arrive once we were here and trying to get that service done under warranty here was an act of God almost. When my warranty came to an end - so did my use of Premier - as voicing my concerns about rapid oil use in a new engine was largely ignored and I was told simply to bring it in at 1000 miles past oil change to check the levels. Which isn’t helpful when there’s no issue at 1000 miles past it was between whatever 60-60% oil life meant on my cars info center kept saying. The warranty expired - and up comes a recall for my Tahoe. I took the car in for service on 1/6. Today, we went to check the oil - and discovered that a vacuum hose had been left loose which got caught in a belt and caused severe damage to both hose and belt. I’ll be calling Premier in the morning — to see how they plan to remedy this issue, though I’m doubtful they’ll do much for it. I’ll be updating this rating — however — I am upset that taking my vehicle in for a recall has now lead to severe damage to other parts of my vehicle. ***UPDATE 1.14.26 - I have emailed / called / texted / utilized their “chat” and “contact us” links and have been ignored outside of their AI email. ***UPDATE 1.29.26- I have filed a complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair - I had to take my car elsewhere to get the hose and belt replaced since no one from Chevy would call me back before I had to head out of town - they did call - the day I was already traveling too little too late at that point. I highly suggest taking your Chevy to Escondido if you can manage it if under warranty — and if not - to B&D Auto Repair in Vista if you need prompt reliable and ethical service. Premier - is not premier - it’s more like Inessential Chevy of Carlsbad.
