“Hello - Last Thursday, my beloved 2020 Honda Civic was totaled. I tree fell on it as I was driving. The tree covered the entire road both ways. It was a freak, 1 in a billion chance, accident. I opened my car door and got out of my car without a single scratch. My Honda Civic saved my life.
Because of the great service I have always received from Brilliance Honda's Service Dept. in Crystal Lake, IL, I thought I would just stop in for a few minutes to inquire about my options. An hour and a half later, I was driving off with my new Honda CR-V. Jeffery F. was my representative and greeted me immediately with a calm and understanding manner. He listened my story and made sure he understood my needs. I told him right away what I would like to pay for a down payment and where I would like my payments to be. For the very first time during a car shopping experience, I wasn't pressured at all to increase the amount I was wanting to pay. He respected what I offered with zero hesitation. Jeff didn't make me feel judged or like he was doing me a favor. Not a single time did he "go to the back" to discuss options with his sales manager. He showed complete independence and autonomy with the sale (refreshing). Jeff didn't let me sit alone in his office for lengthy periods of time spending the time worrying about whether or not I was going to be approved for the car. It didn't even feel like buying a car at all. It just felt like a regular, relaxed business transaction between two respectful and professional adults. Again...refreshing.
Thank you so much to Jeffery F. and everyone at Brilliance Honda of Crystal Lake. You all made what could have been a very stressful, negative interaction into something that had me walking away with a smile.”
