“UPDATE: Clement Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Columbia is refusing to refund my money until my review has been removed. They will not admit that a mistake had been made on their part and dont think they should be held accountable.
I purchased my vehicle in December 2024 and paid for the license and title transfer. A full year and two separate incidents later, one of them involving the police , the transfer was never completed. I ultimately had to resolve the issue myself at the DMV, with the understanding that Clements would issue a refund.
It has now been two months of repeated follow-ups, excuses, and no refund. I even offered to pick it up in person — still nothing.
This level of negligence and lack of accountability is unacceptable. I do not recommend doing business here.”

“For those of you who don't know, Clement Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and and Ram (CDJR) in Columbia, IL is a Top Tier dealership to me! I live in Maryland Heights, MO but I'll make the drive to have this dealership service my 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 4xe needs. The sales, service/parts, and finance teams I've worked with are outstanding, and they truly care about their customers' needs. I've not only observed this amongst other customers during my visits to this dealership, but this has been my experience in this dealership thus far as well. Please don't disappoint me and have me rescind this review but Clement in Columbia, IL has reinvigorated my confidence in doing business with an auto dealership again, and they are whom I'll prefer to handle my vehicle's needs going forward as I have not had some of the most pleasurable experiences with other dealerships in the past. Back in early Oct 2025, I had an awesome sales experience at Clement in Columbia, IL with auto-salesman, Ramsey Al-khamoas, by which I came in looking at a 2018 GMC Yukon Denali, but thereafter, I fell in love with and financed a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 4xe that had low mileage, met all my needs, and my budget. Ramsey is a professional, courteous, attentive, straight forward, and stand-up gentlemen which is hard to find in some people these days. No pressure, no BS, and no energy or time wasted. Fast foward several weeks later, my Jeep experienced the "death wobble" while I was driving to work on the highway, and because my work schedule only allows me one day off from work right now, I was able schedule an appointment with Service Advisor, Alex Lutrell to bring my vehicle into Clement in Columbia, IL early on my one day off from work, and have the "death wobble" issue repaired without spending my whole day off waiting for the repair to complete. They got my vehicle in, repaired, and out in a timely fashion. Their mechanics are knowledgeable, and great at what they do! Thank you Alex and team! Subsequently, my vehicle just received a manufacturer recall notice for a 68C High Voltage Battery, and so I scheduled an appointment at Clement in Columbia, IL to have the 68C battery issue addressed and resolved on another one of my days off from work, and well, let me tell you, again I had an awesome Service Advisor, Megan Pope, whom was very professional, courteous, thorough, and went above and beyond for me. This time Clement in Columbia, IL was needing to keep my 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 4xe to complete the 68C High Voltage Battery manufacturer's recall repairs, but I was not previously informed that they would have to keep my vehicle, and I had not planned for them to do so. I also didn't think I would need to prepare for other transportation arrangements but I did as Megan initially informed me that there were no loaner cars available. So feeling a little defeated and inconvenienced because I knew I would need transportation for work on Sunday and the weeks to follow, I prayed to God Almighty in the Customer Waiting Room, and started searching the nearest Enterprise Car Rental in Columbia, IL. As I began my search, no more than 5-10 minutes into my car rental search, Megan popped back in the customer waiting room with keys to a loaner vehicle for me. I tell you, miracles do happen, and God Almighty is still in the Blessings Business. So fortunately I didn't have to put in any excessive work on my day off from work to secure other transportation arrangements for my next scheduled days of work, and I didn't have to expense a car rental for reimbursement. My hat's off to Ramsey, Alex, Megan, and the entire Clement CDJR staff for going all out for this customer. Thank you for all your time, assistance, and service! Keep being the Great Auto Dealership you are to me! 💯♥️✊🏿💪🏿🤙🏿✌🏿”

“My husband and I looked at a car here today and although we didn’t go with the car, I wanted to share a positive from today’s experience.
Service is very important to me, so I wanted to recognize Richard who was a trainee with our salesman today. He was noticeably welcoming and kind. He was also knowledgeable about the vehicle we were interested in, which we appreciated. I think he will be a great salesman.”

“Have a 2017 renegade that was purchased new at this location and has been almost exclusively maintained by this dealer. This included tons of recalls.
We have been having transmission issues at 80k miles and have been trying to get the vehicle in with them to get repaired. We have been calling for over a month now and each time is a different excuse. "We are waiting on approval for a rental". " Our mechanic is out to lunch he will call when he's back" etc etc. Each time no response without harassing them.
After a recall was performed on the engine we noticed missing bolts, pushpins and messed up hood latch cable. The under hood Mat was also falling off due to missing hardware. When we brought this up they reassured us they would fix it and they had no idea how this happened. When we got it back pretty much all of the issues remained except for the under hood liner.
The last time we had the oil changed we had our doubts that they actually performed the oil change. After crawling under and checking, sure enough the old oil filter was still installed.
The average person may not notice any of this, but as a licensed mechanic myself this is appalling. Could not be more unhappy with the quality of service, communication, and pride that this dealership has
(Edit). The dealership responded to this review and gave me a number to call. Well guess what, I called the number and no answer. I left a message saying call me back. Here we are several days later with no response. What a joke.”
