“I recently purchased a 2025 lease return Camry SE from Claremont Toyota. I had such a great experience that I wanted to share this review in case it could help direct others to this dealership.
For about 6 months, I had been working with Toyota of San Bernardino and Toyota of Riverside, and also I had one or two interactions with Toyota of Redlands. I didn’t have enough interaction to comment on Toyota of Redlands, but I did with the first two, and they were also great. (I can’t speak highly enough about Marcos Alonzo and Jason Cemer at San Bernardino, or Chris Medina at Riverside. They were all really respectful, nice, helpful, knowledgeable, non-pushy people.)
I mention the above to put my experience at Claremont Toyota in context – they were also great in every single interaction I had with them, up to and including purchasing a car. The first person I wanted to acknowledge was salesperson Marlon Montenegro. He was great not only because he was nice and helpful, but because he listened to me. I interacted with a salesman at a different dealership who didn’t listen, but Marlon on the other hand absolutely did. He asked if I was open to a new car and when I stated I was clear I wanted a lightly used lease return, he just got it. He read me accurately and then was 100% with me. Same team. That immediately earned my trust, and internally I thought, “Even if this car doesn’t check out, I’m working with this guy into the future until I do find my car. And I’m recommending him to others.”
When I found the car I wanted, I then went into the finance office with Tommy Vang, and I was bracing myself for all the hard-sell tactics that have come to give car sales a tainted image. Tommy did present me with the optional packages to purchase, and he explained why they might be in my best interest, just like ChatGPT told me a finance manager would. But instead of not listening to me and trying to forcibly sell me on the ideas, he instead worked with me in evaluating if they would be in my best interest. He even supported me taking out a pen and paper and running the numbers on the pre-paid maintenance plan they could provide vs. me paying as I go on my own. This also engendered trust, which made me respect Claremont Toyota even more. I am a bit surprised to say that my experience with a finance manager was respectful and empowering, because it was the part I was dreading the most, expecting a 2-or-3-person team-up, all the sales tactics, etc. (I was well prepared for this, though, thanks to a lot of work with ChatGPT.)
Lastly, I had to drive home and Uber back since I wasn’t trading my car in. I returned to complete some details of the transaction, so Marlon (who was still there after 10 hours – I appreciated him staying there to see this through) connected me with finance manager Chris Rios to accept my check and do the final paperwork. Chris, too, was just awesome. It was almost 7PM and I’m sure a long day at the office for him, but he was present and helpful, professional and nice. At this point I had three great interactions with three different employees and that’s when I thought to myself, “Someone at the top is hiring the right people and creating a culture of quality.”
I asked who I could email to acknowledge this experience and found out that Steve Saas is the general manager of the dealership, so I googled him and found this on LinkedIn: “None of this happens without people. I'm incredibly fortunate to work alongside an outstanding team, and this opportunity allows me to pay it forward - investing in our people, helping them grow, and supporting them as they chase whatever goals they set for themselves.” I must say, in my experience those aren’t just hollow political words. My entire experience with that dealership was respectful and supportive. Great job guys.”

“I have a good experience buying my Toyota Sienna here. The salesman that help me was John Will.No pressure and friendly negotiation. He showed me the functions each button and the electronics on the screen. Explaining them while on the test drive too. Even after a month after purchase, he still kept checking how is my new vehicle and if I have a question or help about it. Great customer service. Kudos to the sales team especially John Will. I would recommend this dealership.”

“I am so extremely happy with my experience buying here. I met Johnny in August of 2025. I was unsure of what I wanted and new to the car buying process. He was supportive, answered every question/text, and truly helped me through this process. He always made me feel comfortable and confident in my decision. I went to many dealerships since our August meeting to see other vehicles and what sold me here was truly how he took care of me. When I showed up ready to buy on the drop of a dime he was there. He was busy but he put me in good trusted hands and checked in every step of the way. Karim helped me as well. He was super kind and helpful. And a major shout out to Daniel in finance. He made a moment that can be very scary and overwhelming such an easy and fun experience.”

“Came in not sure about a 2026 Camry or a 2025 Rav4. Antonio helped us out and we ended up with a 2025 rav4 xle Hybrid. Exact color and spec we wanted. Customer service here was EXCELLENT from start to finish. Salesman Antonio made it easy and put a dream in a driveway. The Manager Muhammad took the time to come and welcome us. Being local to his dealer Muhammad gave us the best deal possible. I dont want to say the discount but it was a very competitive aggressive deal. Ramiro in the finance department made the process streamline, 30 minutes i was approved and keys in my hand.
Claremont Toyota definitely earned our business today. You can tell these guys love what they do. Professional and go the extra mile. Glad we drove the extra 10 minutes to this dealer.
Anyone shopping around the area I 100% recommend you stop at this dealer. Save the headache and a few thousand.”
