I came to look at a Civic, and from the start, his attitude was arrogant and dismissive. When I pointed out that the car was smoking, he literally said, 'So what? All cars smoke,' even though it was an 80-degree day. It got worse when we sat down to talk about financing. He demanded all my personal information (SSN, paystubs, address) and tried to force me to sign a credit application before even giving me the price of the car. He refused to do a soft pull, insisted on a hard inquiry, and said they couldn't discuss the price until I signed. This is an extremely shady and unprofessional business practice. I refused to sign and walked out. Save your credit score and your time, and go somewhere else."”
