“We had a great experience all around purchasing with CarMax. We went in on several occasions to the Charlottesville location, and all of our sales reps were helpful, professional, and not pushy in the slightest. We first went with a list of cars to check out and test drive, and the process for that was super easy, even without calling ahead or making a reservation. After we narrowed it down to a make and model, we had a car shipped from another location to test drive the specific car at the Charlottesville location. (Some cars were free to ship; we paid a relatively small fee because the car we liked best was a bit further away.) The payment process was smooth. Then, we ultimately needed help with some paperwork about a month after purchasing (something the dealership was under no obligation to help us figure out), and they went above and beyond to make our lives easier. We've put about 6 weeks of driving and about 1,000 miles on the vehicle and couldn't be happier. Overall, a great experience, and we'd happily buy our next car from CarMax in Charlottesville or another location. Painless process, helpful staff, just a positive experience from start to finish.”
