“Really disappointing experience with the service department at Ford in Carlsbad. My husband’s truck was there for an entire month for a warranty repair, and the communication throughout the process was awful. We received little to no proactive communication and constantly felt like we were left wondering what was happening with the truck. When you have someone’s vehicle for that long, regular updates should be the bare minimum, even if the update is simply that you’re still waiting on a part or don’t have a completion date yet. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t get any better when we finally picked the truck up. The woman working at pickup was grumpy, rude, and made an already frustrating experience even more unpleasant. I completely understand that warranty repairs can take time and that delays happen. What I don’t understand is the lack of communication and poor customer service. Keeping customers informed costs nothing and would have made a huge difference in this experience. After having our truck for a month, I expected much better service and professionalism. The service department really needs to work on its communication and how customers are treated. Will be using a different Ford location for service from now on.”
