“The engine light came on my Encore in Elizabethtown on Sunday. I needed my car fixed as I take several elderly ladies to their out-of-town appointments. When I called the service department at Don Franklin, in Campbellsville on Monday the first opening was two weeks out. I explained my dilemma and they let me bring the car in on Tuesday morning to be worked in. The parts were delayed and arrived early on Thursday morning. I called around 8 a.m. The appointment was out of town at 2:30 p.m. My car was up next to fix. I received a text message, went in, paid the bill, picked up my keys and went out front to pick up the car. Did I mention it was pouring down rain (emphasis on pouring , like in, 'out of a bucket'). The car was not out front. A very nice service man passed. He stopped and asked me what was wrong. He said my car had just been pulled in the back parking lot. He took the keys and brought the car around front. There were no spaces under the awning so he got out and held his umbrella over me (even though I had mine) as I got in the car. He then offered to go get a towel to wipe the excess water on the door and seat. The rain was no problem for me, but how kind to offer. I was able to get the patient to her much needed appointment as the 4 pain shots in her neck and shoulders immediately improved her pain. Thank you to the service team at Don Franklin at Campbellsville. They are not only the best mechanics EVER but are truly kind folks who go above and beyond!
