“This place brought me in because they were offering 2k for any trade in which sounds like a great deal especially since the highest I got offered was 800 since the transmission was going out so I gave them a shot. I test drove a 2022 equinox which drove ok. I checked under the hood and a rag was tucked away in the engine compartment. I showed the salesman and he reached down and pushed it further down and said that’s not a rag, it’s the wires 🙃. I said u pushed it further down but I can still see it. He eventually reached down and pulled out a red rag with stains on it and said the mechanics must’ve accidentally left it in there while working on it. Another salesman told me since the car had a ✅ they offer a 1 year power terrain warranty which turned out to be a lie. As I was going to leave a manager wanted to make a deal and offered 3k for my trade in which sounded even better. I probably would’ve took the deal if they didn’t try to hide the rag or lie about the warranty. The rag was probably left by accident but also could’ve been there to soak up any leaks. The manager who offered me the 3k trade in was great but the rest of the experience was underwhelming. I decided on another car lot down the street. A newer car, lower miles and cheaper. Although it was hard to walk away from the 3k trade in offer I just didn’t feel comfortable with the situation.”
