Customer service was excellent and Tyler was very knowledgeable about the vehicle, even though it was not one of their mainstream makes or models at the Volkswagon dealership. The purchase was simple and efficient also with great customer service. I could not have asked for a better experience with a vehicle purchase!”

From the moment I hit check availability on my car search app the process was quick and took only 1 hr to make a deal they even stay after close to make sure it was the right deal for me, Adrian was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on making the process smooth and stress-free. “Less than 100 miles after a 30K mile service I had to take the car to the closest VW dealer due to oil warning lights. Stopped at the next available VW dealer and was informed the car had 1/2 quart too much oil. The second dealer removed the oil and properly serviced the car. Brookdale cost me about 5 hours of my time and has not made up for it or compensated me in any way.”

“Luther Brookdale Volkswagen has a phenomenal Service Department. The Service Advisor named Bradley Nimz went above and beyond to help me when I took my vehicle in for service Saturday, October 25, 2025. I am so thankful that I had an opportunity to encounter such a kind Service Advisor. I was somewhat nervous and apprehensive about taking the vehicle for service for several reasons. First, I was in town for a funeral, so I didn’t want to miss out on time with family. Secondly, the vehicle had been to the service department at dealerships in Indiana for seven repairs, and taking it to the service department for an eighth time made me nervous. Third, I needed to get on the highway to return home early in the day. Well, I was in the right place at the right time when I went to Luther Brookdale Volkswagen.
First, Bradley greeted me at the service entrance door while dealing with an influx of vehicles that needed service. He managed to successfully navigate my vehicle check in process while giving instructions to help another employee, while greeting new customers and restarting a handheld device that was experiencing technical difficulties.
When the computer started working well again, Bradley gave me clear details about the results of the video scan of the vehicle that occurred when I entered the door. It was a nice experience to have access to video which allowed me to see what the service department was able to see. Bradley also gave me the service recommendations and completed the check in process. Then he guided me to the waiting area while explaining all the different seating areas available. There was a general seating area with beverages and refreshments.
There was a room with toys and crafts, specifically designed for play while waiting in the service department. When I walked into that area, it provided me a safe space to reminisce about watching Saturday morning cartoons and movies as a child, with my cousin who had recently passed, who lived in Minnesota. There was also a stand in the room with materials for coloring, drawing and assembling puzzles. Then around the corner in the service department, there was a row of desks, chairs and charging stations in cubbyholes for privacy and productivity, such as charging your mobile devices.
Another remarkable method of communication that was used after check-in was text messaging from the service department. I received the video from the service department by text message. Then I received a text message to inform me that the service was complete and the vehicle was ready. The time from start to finish was super fast, and Bradley was super patient. When I returned to the service desk, Bradley graciously navigated helping one customer check out of the service department. Then he helped another customer get checked in for service. Then another customer became anxious and requested step by step instructions to take home to try to fix a service issue. Bradley immediately gave him an instructional sheet and a disclaimer. Then Bradley resumed my checkout process. He provided guidance for me to add my Volkswagen App to my phone. He also added my current phone as a replacement for a previous phone on the Volkswagen Connect account. He helped me overcome some of the challenges that I was facing when I tried to access the menu in my vehicle. He also showed me where to access tire rotation and oil change information on my vehicle menu. I came to Minnesota sad and preparing for a funeral, but I left better than I came due in part to the kindness of Bradley at Luther Brookdale Volkswagen. Thank you for hiring such a phenomenal human to work in the service department. I am so thankful for the care provided in the service department.”
