I would like to offer some well preserved praise for Clifford Garth, the salesperson we were fortunate to deal with. Given that my wife and I had to travel several miles to get to the dealership, he was kind enough to fully address various questions before making the trip. His undivided attention continued upon our arrival and throughout the driving and purchase experience. His professionalism was top notch, and his ability to address any concerns we had were performed in a courteous and friendly manner. He is certainly an asset to this organization and anyone who has the pleasure of dealing with him will be treated with the utmost respect. Kevin & Pam Taylor

I had such a wonderful experience with Friendship Honda of Boone! Joshua was the individual who I worked with and he kept me in the loop of what was happening with my vehicle, who all they were contacting to help diagnose my car, and contacted me directly before making any further choices for my car. They worked so diligently in contacting other Honda technicians, and then Honda directly due to how uncommon my car's issue was. Joshua, and their team, also worked so hard in getting my warranty company to comply and cover the issue that my car had, which was also a HUGE relief for me. I am SO GRATEFUL for all the hard work, communication, and transparency that Joshua and the Honda company had with me. Thank you guys!

I’m writing this as a service to my community and so that nobody gets taken advantage of. I got a Kelley Blue Book instant cash offer for my 2015 Honda Accord with 72K miles for $12,000. Friendship Honda called me off that KBB lead and asked me to bring the car in. Here is what I showed up with: • 2015 Honda Accord • Clean title, fully paid off • Two owners total • Around 72,000 miles • No accidents, no mechanical issues • One tear in the leather driver’s seat that I had already priced at about $300 to replace. Brand new brakes and tires all replaced this year. Dave and his manager, Tyler, walked around my car pointing at every tiny scuff and scrape on the bumpers and sides. Little cosmetic stuff from normal use. They acted like each one was a massive problem. They told me that every small scuff on the bumper would be $1,000 to fix (each). They said my new tires weren’t good because they “all had to match.” A little bit of rust on the very edge of the roof was a huge deal. To be clear, I was 100% honest about the condition of my car with Kelley Blue Book. If they were looking for a brand new car with zero scuff marks, then maybe they should stop hounding people’s KBB offer and look at these offers more closely before calling people in. They never even bothered to look under the hood and the perfect engine and running condition. It was all about the scuff marks, scrapes, and chips. They went to the back and came back with a $5,000 offer for my 2015 Honda Accord with 72,000 and a perfect engine 🤣 Just because I am a woman doesn’t mean I am stupid. So I went and checked for myself what these scuff marks would cost. I took the car to multiple body shops in Boone. Every single one quoted me under $1,000 to repaint BOTH bumpers, not “$1,000 per little scuff” like Tyler claimed. In other words, what they told me was not just off. It was outrageous. Meanwhile, I had it listed on Facebook Marketplace and people were happily offering me $10,000–$11,000 for it with full knowledge of the cosmetic flaws. Then I decided to get a quote from Carvana. I put in the same info as I did for KBB, and Carvana valued my car at $14,000 and actually bought it for that amount. It was the easiest most pleasant process ever. The driver came, started the car, checked the VIN, did a quick walk-around, plugged his little tool under the steering wheel, and loaded it on the truck and that was it. So here is the math: • Kelley Blue Book: $12,000 • Marketplace buyers: $10,000–$11,000 • Carvana: $14,000 • Friendship Honda: $5,000 🤣 That is not just a “low offer.” That is trying to see if they can get away with robbing someone. Dave was polite enough in person, but politeness does not cancel predatory behavior. If I had believed them, I would have thrown away close to $9,000. If you are thinking of selling your car to this dealership, take this as your warning: • Get multiple opinions. • Get real body shop quotes. • Check Carvana, CarMax, Marketplace, whatever. Do not walk in there assuming they are going to be honest with you. I know it’s easy to want to give people the benefit of the doubt— especially when you’re a person who operates with integrity— but car dealerships stereotypes hold true for a reason. They were not honest with me, and I will never recommend them to anyone. Friendship Honda tried to give me $5,000 for a highly sought after car that is known to run forever with good maintenance. Carvana paid me $14,000. That should tell you everything you need to know.

Very timely response to my problem. They had me on my way within the hour. My service representative Walker was very helpful and extremely professional. I was just visiting Boone, and was extremely impressed that they immediately responded to my issue and it didn’t matter that I was just dropping in without an appointment. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who asked. Thank you for providing me with your Friendly Service. Bob C.

Hands down the best car experience ever, mind you my first (but still amazing). Clifford helped me from the very beginning, started looking at cars about a month before I wanted to buy - Clifford was literally there through it all. Walked in with an offer from another Honda, they beat it and were more than willing to work with me. Walked away a month later with a 2025 CRV, 100% happy. If you want a smooth and straightforward experience, definitely see Clifford at Friendship. Can not speak highly enough!
