Rationale:
I was highly disappointed with my experience at ourisman volvo of Bethesda. My vehicle is certified pre owned, however there are obvious defects that were overlooked and, when brought to the attention of the service center, disregarded.
I dropped my car off on Tuesday, dec. 16, 2025 primarily for my sunroof seal and for defective rear speakers. When scheduling my appointment I was informed that the master mechanic would be handling my concerns, however when I picked my car up the rear speakers were in worse condition than when I initially dropped it off. When I brought my concerns to the service tech and three additional mechanics they informed me that they didn’t have another s60 to compare any abnormalities with the rear speakers, and consistently told me my speakers “should be” and “looked fine”. With the speakers obviously lacking symmetry and revealing the underlying sponge, I persisted and finally spoke with the “master mechanic”, who had allegedly already reviewed my vehicle. Immediately he noted that the rear speakers were in fact, warped and would need replacing.
It was highly disappointing knowing that the mechanics at a certified volvo dealership are dishonest, unknowledgeable, and/or remiss in resolving the issue.”

“Perfect experience. I bought a Golf R and this was the most polite and smooth negotiation I have ever experienced along with my trade-in. Very fair. Everything was fully disclosed and they did not try to push any extras on me to any extent.
The salesman even helped me transfer all my personal belongings into my new car and this was after hours. He went completely overboard to help me on a day where I was not at my best. I hope he enjoys the novelty gift I was able to leave him in gratitude. God bless your team for a terrific A+ experience.”

“Me and my husband purchased a car in April from here. We had the worse experience. We were promised the car would be detailed that never happened. As soon as we left with the car the following day the oil light came on and when we contacted them and when bringing it back they gave us a hard time to give us a loaner. We picked the car up and they said everything was fixed and after a few days the oil light came on again and we had to take it back. They finally contacted VW to find out this was a common problem and that they have to put the precise amount of oil or there will be an issue. The process on purchasing the car went well at first but once we purchased the car it was as if we didn’t matter anymore. They did not care that the detail we were promised never happened. The car looked the same as when we first saw it. There were specific marks on a door and trunk area that were still there. When calling to address the detailing and oil light coming on we got the run around and struggled to get a call back. It was really upsetting because when we test drove the car and were in the process of purchasing the sales man was very nice but it seems like after the purchase this place doesn’t care to address any issues or hold up to what they promise.”

“I want to express my sincere appreciation for my salesperson, Abdullah Kozalbash. He was professional, kind, and patient, taking the time to help me fully understand my purchase. His dedication—especially sending videos of the car before I arrived—truly stood out and played a big role in my decision to move forward. He was willing to work with me every step of the way, and I genuinely appreciate his consistent effort and great attitude.
I also want to thank the finance representative who assisted me. I’m so sorry I can’t recall his name, but once I was brought back to the financing department, he made the entire process smooth and reassuring. He was genuinely willing to help me secure the best financing for my purchase, and I sincerely appreciate all of his hard work and effort as well.
Overall, both gentlemen made this a very positive experience, and I’m truly grateful for their help.”

“I had an incredible buying experience here while picking up my 2025 VW Atlas. Jairo was the one who helped me through the whole process, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about him. I drove down from Philly in a rental, and he actually came to pick me up from the rental location even though it wasn’t his working day. He stayed an hour past closing just to make sure everything was set for my drive back home. That kind of care is rare.
Brian kept everything moving on the finance coordination side and made the process smooth, and Lara in finance was a breeze to work with. Everything felt transparent, easy, and well-organized.
Special shoutout again to Jairo. He’s a young guy with a bright future the way he treats customers. He even checked in with me the next day to make sure the ride home went well. Great experience all around.”
