“B service at Mercedes Benz of Bakersfield.
I Took my car in for a B service, and also asked them to check the driver side rear wheel as PSI kept dropping and the car sensor was on. I was told they checked it thoroughly and there was no leak. We discussed the sensor that kept indicating to check tire and agreed to leave it for now and we could re review if it did not turn off in a couple of days. The next morning the tire was low and a nail was clearly visible.”

“Paula at Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield is truly amazing. From start to finish, she made the entire experience seamless, professional, and actually enjoyable. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and never once made me feel rushed or pressured.
Paula took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, answered every question thoroughly, and made sure I felt confident and excited about my purchase. Her communication was on point, her attention to detail was unmatched, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares, is honest, and delivers a top-tier luxury experience, ask for Paula. She’s the reason I’ll be a returning customer and will be recommending Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield to everyone I know.”

“Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield has been a solid spot for me,since purchasing my ride in 2023 especially now with Laura as my service rep. I met her a few months ago when she was in training, and now she's excellent at her job. John, the service manager, is super friendly and has the knowledge to explain any questions with total confidence. The service department overall feels top-notch, and they even have great refreshments like coffee and tea, plus kind employees who make you feel welcome. This professionalism seems the same for both the Concierge and the Parts counters.
The only real downfall is the front desk staff—( I have been here 4 times since November) and they seem to selectively greet only certain people, and that's only when they're off their phones long enough to look up and see who's coming in. Yeah, for some reason its two of them l and every time I noticed this sitting in the waiting area while waiting for my vehicle. IMO, maybe they should hire friendlier front desk employees, not just someone posted to fill the spot, Save the money or pay it to someone worth posting up front.
On another hand, if any of the sales reps are sitting outside, they always greet you, ask what you need, and even open the door for you. That kind of attentiveness makes a big difference right from the start.
Overall, 4 stars , & worth checking out even if the front desk staff is mehhhh....”

“To the owners of Mercedes of Bakersfield 👎🏻
I am writing to formally complain about my recent service experience at Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield, specifically involving the Service Manager, John Hoffman.
I purchased a 2026 Mercedes-Benz G550 on November 15, 2026. Just four days after purchase, the check engine light came on. I returned the vehicle to the dealership immediately. Although the light turned off shortly before arriving, I still left the vehicle for inspection, was issued a loaner, and returned two days later. I was informed at that time that a code had been found.
On December 18, 2026, the check engine light came on again. I contacted the dealership and was instructed to bring the vehicle in at 10:30 AM. I dropped the vehicle off, received a loaner, and left. While driving home, I was contacted and told the vehicle was already “done” and that it drove fine with “nothing wrong.”
When I returned to the dealership, I requested written service documentation acknowledging that my vehicle had been brought in and inspected. John Hoffman refused to provide any paperwork, stating that because the check engine light was off and no active code was present, they “did nothing” and therefore would not provide documentation.
Additionally, Mr. Hoffman stated that the dealership does not check vehicles unless the check engine light is currently on, and that connecting the vehicle to a scanner or performing a full computer diagnostic would only be done as a “courtesy.” This statement is extremely concerning.
This is a brand-new vehicle under factory warranty. I am not asking for special treatment, handouts, or anything outside of what should be covered. I am simply requesting proper diagnostics and documentation for a recurring issue on a newly purchased Mercedes-Benz.
Refusing to scan the vehicle, declining to document service visits, and dismissing a repeated warning light is unacceptable and does not meet the standards I expect from a Mercedes-Benz service department.
All I’m requesting:
1. Written documentation acknowledging both service visits
2. Confirmation of all diagnostic checks performed or not performed
3. Assurance that future issues will be properly diagnosed, documented, and addressed under warranty
I expect this matter to be taken seriously and resolved promptly.
Sincerely,
john”
