“I would strongly caution anyone considering buying a vehicle from this dealership to carefully review every single document before signing. My wife traded in her 2021 Ford Explorer with approximately $15,000 in positive equity to purchase a 2023 Ford Explorer. After recently reviewing the paperwork in detail, I was shocked by what I found. Based on the documents we have, it appears she received no meaningful credit for the equity in her trade. In addition, the contract included nearly $5,000 in finance charges, approximately $1,000 for GAP insurance despite having substantial equity in the trade, and another approximately $1,000 for an extended warranty that she did not realize she was purchasing at the time. To make matters worse, the 2023 Explorer she purchased actually has fewer features than the 2021 Explorer she traded in. What frustrates me even more is that every six months this dealership contacts her claiming they can get her into a newer Explorer for the same payment or even less. She gets excited, talks to them for hours, and it always turns into a much more expensive deal for a lower trim level than what she already owns. It feels like a sales tactic designed to get customers through the door rather than an honest assessment of what's possible. I'm not saying people shouldn't buy from this dealership, but I am saying you need to protect yourself. Read every line of the contract. Verify the trade-in value, ask for a complete breakdown of every fee, question every product being added, and don't let yourself feel rushed into signing. We trusted this dealership to treat my wife fairly, and after reviewing everything, I don't believe that happened. We will never do business here again, and I hope this review encourages others to slow down, ask questions, and make sure they fully understand what they're agreeing to before signing anything.”
