“This service department is the sole reason I haven’t bought another Subaru. My cars are getting old and I like my 2020 Subaru, but I just can’t face being required to come here for warranty service. A new car is nice, but not when it means having to come here for warranty service. I wish I lived somewhere else so I could rely on a dealership with a better service department.”

“Very courteous employees. Never a problem with that. At a routine oil change it was recommended that a 'based on mileage' transmission service be done, but I elected to have it done elsewhere. Had to go back to Subaru because of a new problem--whether it was a result of the non-dealer service or something else. I had an 8:30 appt, and got there at 7:45. I called them at 1:15, and they said they hadn't gotten to my car yet! Almost 5 hours from my appt time for what I'd thought would've been done by then. So, after they looked at my car the transmission service Subaru recommended in August had went from $360 to $997 just 2 months later. There wasn't anything to fix--this was the exact same service, worded the exact same way on my paperwork. I asked about the price difference, and I was told that their quotes were only good for 30 days. I felt taken advantage of because what other options did I have? That was a $637 increase in 2 months to have the exact same service done--nothing additional. I ended up taking it back to the non Subaru repair shop, and the problem was taken care of. Whether the non-Subaru repair shop caused the issue or not--Subaru almost tripled the price of having the same exact work done that they'd quoted me a price for 2 months prior.”

“I test drove a 2020 Outback and was very interested but there were water spots on the trim. Sarah, the general manager, assured me she’d make sure to find out if they were easily cleaned or permanent but she failed to get back with me and the car was sold to someone else. I was very disappointed, Jagged, the salesman also did not get back with me on this. I’d hate to think this is a reflection of their service department but definitely underwhelmed so far. I am looking elsewhere.”
