“I had a poor experience with this Ken Ganley location on a Ram 1500. First the dealer was very pushy, especially with the credit app. Stating “ If you want another discount fill out the credit application“. Also they used the traditional end of month tactic saying thay the incentives were going to go away if I didn’t act fast. Except the sales manager had already told me over the phone the discount on the RHO is strictly dealer incentives, absolutely no mfg incentives. So we weren’t dealing with expiring mfg rebates, but dealer choice. Ended up agreeing to a deal which seemed like a good price. the dealership sent me a deal sheet, I said I was going to move forward and I would be coming up (90 min drive) very shortly. Only then to be told I can’t purchase the car today because it had an open recall. Which is totally not the issue. The issue was that when communication from the dealership came back online 2 days later they changed the deal they had presented me. Granted it was only $400 different. But It became a principle thing with me, you make a deal, and something happens outside the customers control and you refuse to honor it. So they lost a deal over $400 because there “was no juice left to squeeze”. Instead of any accountability, the blame was placed on Stellantis. When deducting $400 by honoring the original deal would have rectified my frustration. They should have never even quoted me a price if they 1 knew they couldn’t sell the truck and 2 the weren’t going to honor the price sheet when the truck was ready. In this process I also put a $1000 hold deposit down, which was refunded but there was a $30 transaction fee that I did not get back. Again $30 not a big deal but had the guy told me if I use a debit card I wouldn’t incur a fee I would have done that. Poor communication. I will say my salesman was pretty good, seemed cool, worked with me on getting the deal set up. Ended up going over to Deacons Ram and bought the truck today, at a better price with absolutely zero hassle.”

“I guess “Multi-Point Inspection” means they’ll only inspect what you’re paying them to diagnose. I brought my 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan in after specifically telling them about a broken horn and second-row folding seats that wouldn’t latch. My invoice totaled over $4,200, included a complimentary Multi-Point Inspection, and I was charged nearly $800 in diagnostic fees for multiple items. Not long afterward, I took the van to a different mechanic for a routine oil change. They found several basic maintenance issues that had never been mentioned to me, including: * An extremely dirty oil filter that they believed had not been changed in a very long time (they estimated it could have been 20,000+ miles). * A broken oil dipstick. * Very low coolant in the radiator. * Exceptionally dirty engine and cabin air filters. * Overinflated tires. Based on my experience, I expected at least some of these issues to be identified or brought to my attention during a multi-point inspection, especially after spending over $4,200 on repairs and nearly $800 on diagnostic charges. Instead, I only learned about them when another shop serviced the vehicle shortly afterward. I’m not questioning the repairs they performed on the issues I specifically brought the van in for. My disappointment is with the thoroughness and value of the inspection that accompanied such an expensive service visit. I can’t recommend Ken Ganley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Bedford’s service department based on my experience. I would encourage anyone authorizing major repairs to consider getting a second opinion.”

“We were extremely disappointed with our experience. Before making the hour-long drive to the dealership, I specifically asked if the price we were quoted was the final price because we needed to know whether the van fit within our budget. I was told that it was, so my husband and I got a cashier’s check for that exact amount and drove an hour to the dealership. When we arrived, we were told the total was actually much higher because sales tax hadn’t been included. I understand that taxes are part of buying a vehicle, but when I specifically asked for the final price, I expected to be told the out-the-door total or at least informed that taxes would be added. Had we been given the correct total, we never would have made the trip because it was outside our budget. Instead, we wasted hours of our day driving there only to find out we couldn’t afford the vehicle after all. The dealership wasn’t willing to work with us, so we had no choice but to walk away. Honest, upfront communication would have saved everyone time and frustration. ****EDITING TO UPDATE in response to the dealership’s reply: If anyone would like to see the text messages, I’m happy to share them. They clearly show the dealership stating that the price they quoted was the price after all fees. You can decide for yourself whether their public response matches what was communicated to us privately.”
