“Mr. Lloyd was an amazing salesman. He listened to what I wanted and never rushed me throughout the process. He allowed me to test drive multiple vehicles and never tried to push me toward a car that wasn’t right for me.
We initially selected one vehicle, then decided to go back to the original car we had looked at, and he was completely understanding. Not once did he seem frustrated or make me feel pressured.
The entire team provided outstanding customer service and made the car-buying experience enjoyable and stress-free. I truly appreciate the time, patience, and professionalism they showed me. Because of the excellent service I received, I will definitely return for my future vehicle purchases and highly recommend them”

“In 2023 I have bought a brand new Kia Carnival SX Prestige it is 2024 and It had only 10 Miles When I picked it up. Definitely Ask For Kate She Was One Of the best employees. In 2024 It was snowing and my carnival is front wheel drive and it somehow drove through the snow. I will buy my future car here again. You Should Buy A Kia Here. Even if you are going to buy a used Kia here you do not need to hesitate.”

“My experience was great and straight forward. I got a 2026 chrome blue Kia carnival which my family loves. Baylee was very quick with the process helping me to get in and out with in 1 hour n half. The financial manager I forgot his name was very professional and the process was not a life or death feeling. Overall great team at Kia west county”

“I normally don’t leave reviews, but my experience with HW Kia of West County deserves to be shared.
I first took my 2013 Kia Optima here on September 18, 2025, regarding technical service bulletins and recalls that included serious safety concerns such as the risk of the vehicle catching fire. Despite explaining the symptoms and referencing the bulletins, I was told my vehicle did not qualify and was sent home.
Still having the same issues, I went back to my main mechanic and later sought a second opinion from another dealership. Both confirmed the problem was related to the same bulletins and recalls I had mentioned to Kia.
I returned to HW Kia on September 23, hoping for proper help, but my service advisor was dismissive and said there was nothing he could do. It was raining heavily and traffic was bad, and I didn’t feel safe driving home in a car with known safety risks. Thankfully, another employee named Rich stepped in and offered to have someone drive me home while they kept my car.
While my car was there, I continued calling Kia Consumer Services daily, escalating my issue and waiting for updates. I was told that once the DPSM approved the case, I would be eligible for a loaner vehicle. That approval came through on October 7, but I was told there were no loaners available at the time. I didn’t receive a call about one being ready until October 9, which is when I finally received a vehicle to use.
When I picked up my car on October 17, I noticed new problems right away: the passenger side dashboard was not secured properly, the center dash trim was loose, the seat heating and cooling buttons no longer worked, and the (i) indicator light that was supposed to clear remained on.
I emailed my service advisor that same day with photos and videos but received no response. On October 21, my escalation agent from Kia Consumer Services called the dealership while I was on the phone with her, and only then did I finally receive an email reply on October 22. After that, there was still no follow-up until nearly a week later.
On October 28, my escalation agent reached out again and was surprised to learn I still hadn’t received an update. Only then was I offered an appointment for October 30 at 10:30 a.m.
To make matters worse, I was charged for an extra rental day even though I was notified that my car was ready after business hours on October 16, making it impossible to return the rental that day. I had just filled the rental car with gas and asked if I’d be reimbursed for the unused fuel but was told no.
When I raised the issue about the rental charge, my advisor said there was nothing he could do and made a sarcastic comment about giving me Kia Consumer Services’ number—the same number I had asked for earlier when I truly needed help. At that time, I had to do my own research, spend weeks calling, and push through multiple escalations to finally get authorization for my repairs.
At every step, there was a lack of urgency, empathy, and accountability. Communication only happened when corporate Kia intervened.
This entire experience was exhausting and disappointing, especially after doing everything the right way by calling, emailing, documenting, and escalating. I truly hope Kia corporate reviews cases like this closely and holds dealerships accountable for proper customer care standards.
Attached are the photos and videos showing the issues I discovered after picking up my car.”
