“So i sold a vehicle to BMW of Bakersfield in November of 2025. The quoted me a price for my car and we went a little back and forth. I asked for $500 more than they were offering. The sales person agreed on the price. When I went back to sell the vehicle, the check they cut was not for the amount we had agreed on. They knew I was on a time constraint and basically pulled a little bait and switch. I was irritated but I had no choice at the time and proceeded with the sale. I thought about writing a bad review but I dont usually leave reviews so I didnt bother. Well, until now. I needed a copy of my bill of sale so I contacted the BMW dealership. They kept transferring me to finance and I kept leaving voicemails. Then I pulled a karen and asked to speak to the manager. The lady said manager was busy and she would personally take a note to the finance person for them to call me back. Well after almost a week of trying to get a hold of someone, they still haven't called me back. I let the original issue slide, but after trying to get a hold of them again with no reply, I can see this is just how they do business. Very disappointing experience with BMW of Bakersfield. They’re quick to respond when they’re making money off you, but much less helpful when you need support without a sale attached. A company’s real value shows in those moments. I definitely experienced some typical slimey car dealership behavior in my interaction with them. And still never heard back about my bill of sale.”
