Dishonest Pricing and Pushy Sales Tactics – But Manager Ultimately Made It Right I recently contacted Avondale Nissan because my car was due for service and I wanted a quote for spark plug replacement. Over the phone I was clearly quoted $499 for the service, so I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. At 8:00 a.m. the day of my appointment, I received a call from an unknown number. It turned out to be someone from the dealership, but instead of confirming my appointment, it was a salesperson trying to sell me a new vehicle. I wasn’t even at the dealership yet and they were already pushing a new car on me. I work late and was just waking up, so this was annoying and felt very opportunistic. When I arrived for my appointment, I checked in and they took my vehicle back. While speaking with the service advisor, I was suddenly told the price for the spark plug replacement was $899, not the $499 I had been quoted the day before. To his credit, the service advisor was professional and kept his composure, and he did ask if I still wanted to proceed. My answer was absolutely not. It’s not about whether I can afford it – I can – it’s about the principle. Being quoted one price over the phone and then nearly doubling it when I arrive is unacceptable. Combined with the early‑morning sales call trying to get me into a new car before I even set foot in the dealership, this experience completely destroyed my trust. *Update: A few hours after I posted this review, I received a call from the manager. He told me they had reviewed the recorded calls and confirmed that the employee had indeed given me the incorrect price for the service I requested. The manager acknowledged the mistake and offered to honor the original $499 quote. I agreed, returned two days later, and had the service completed at the originally quoted price. The work was done as promised, and I appreciate that management took responsibility and made an effort to correct the situation. Because of the initial pricing issue and pushy sales call, I still don’t feel comfortable giving a full 5 stars, but I am updating my rating from 1 star to 3 stars to reflect that the manager stepped in, admitted the error, and ultimately did the right thing.

I just purchased a 2026 Nissan Kicks from Avondale Nissan. Garrick was AMAZING during the whole process. He took the time to show me several different options and was very knowledgeable about each one. Once I made my decision, he made sure that everything went smooth. Lisa, the finance manager, that worked with me was also incredible. I love my new car and I love Avondale Nissan and recommend the team there to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle!!

I recently purchased my 2024 Nissan Rogue from Nissan Avondale and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Tyler was an outstanding salesman, he was knowledgeable, friendly, and never pushy. Patrick, our financing specialist, was just as great. Together they made sure I stayed in control of every decision while keeping the whole process smooth and efficient. I absolutely love my new SUV, and it’s been treating me great so far. Highly recommend this team if you’re looking for a stress free car buying experience!
