“I purchased a 3.0L Duramax Silverado from Bob Johnson Chevrolet in January 2023. Since purchase, the truck has had repeated check engine light issues. Dansville Chevrolet tore the vehicle apart multiple times and eventually admitted their mechanic was not experienced with the 3.0L Duramax. After this repeated disassembly, the truck now has an oil leak that did not exist before. I contacted Bob Johnson Chevrolet for proper service and explained that I would need a loaner vehicle if the truck was kept. I spoke with two women in the service department. The second, who I believe was a manager, was extremely rude and dismissive. I was told to drop the truck off and go without transportation. When I explained that I am a disabled veteran and rely on my vehicle to attend medical appointments, I was told, essentially, “too bad.” I was spoken to aggressively and eventually threatened with being hung up on. The way I was treated left me feeling discriminated against as both disabled and a veteran. Whether intentional or not, the lack of empathy and professionalism was unacceptable. Between the unresolved mechanical issues, the new oil leak, and the way I was treated, I cannot recommend this dealership”
