“I was very happy with the service I got today at the dealer when I got service done. No high pressure to get things worked on that I was not prepared to pay for at that time. The service writer was very helpful and very nice. When I got there a service writer helped me even though I made the appt with someone else. I felt like there was a good team vibe going on. I bought my 2023 GMC Yukon new from Shortline, and their service team has been responsive, friendly, and easy to work with every time. Scheduling is simple, communication is clear, and they genuinely care about their customers. Highly recommend their service department.”

“Yay I found my dream car!! But BEWARE. Be prepared into FORCED dealership “upgrades”. $2,000 PLUS handling. One should feel happy and on top of the world excited when buying the car they have been looking for! Feeling ripped off and not up for the fight. Bring your magnifying glass because your quote is so tiny and full of sneaky charges you can’t remove. I hope this post helps others. Shame on the new Manager for integrating a dirty old school “rip off the customer” approach. I feel for the sales team because they truly are such friendly folks!”

“I wanted to purchase a new truck and my wife and I found the one we wanted to Shortline Buick/GMC. It was a good deal on a good vehicle, and after looking at more than a dozen, we felt it was the best truck we could get for the price. When we visited Shortline, the truck was ready for us to look at. The salesman gave us a speech about how they have had several vehicles stolen off their lot recently and as a result, they installed a fancy security system called KARR on all of their vehicles. (Note: He never said anything else about it, so we didn't think about it too much.) When we went into the office to discuss prices, he hands me the cost sheet and we see an "dealer add-on" for $995.00. When we asked what that was, he says, "It's for the KARR security system." We explained to him that (1) we didn't ask for this, (2) We didn't want it, (3) we would prefer to decline it. His response was, "Well, the way you decline it is you don't buy the truck." We then asked if they would take $995 off the price of the vehicle to make up for it, and he said he had to speak to his manager. When he returned, he said, "My manager won't allow it." Yes, at this point I could have easily walked out, but I really wanted the truck and it was a good deal, with the exception of the additional security system, so we just paid it. In hindsight, I am truly disappointed with this experience at Shortline and they will never get my business again.”
