“I would give this place no stars if i could but thats not an option. Ive bought several vehicles from the Allen Samuels in Corpus Christi when they were open and that place was great! The Allen Samuels in Aransas Pass I have had the WORST experience I have ever had at any dealership i have purchased from. My husband and i went to look at a jeep grand wagoneer we saw on the website. We were told we were gonna get a crazy good deal if we purchased today, so we decided to purchase. The deal was $10,000 more than what they had listed on their website. They hesitated to bring it to that price but ended up doing it. Then i asked before we purchased if we could have the scratches on the door fixed before we buy, only because they were deep (keep in mind it was new). We were told yes, after hours of being there (which is expected when buying a new vehicle) we were told to come back because they were unable to buff them out. When out playes came in we went back and they tried again to buff them out only to scratch it up more and it looked worse then before and i asked if they could just paint it since they made it look worse and were unable to buff it out. We were told yes and they would pick the vehicle up from us and take it to their body shop. I work graveyards and stay up till noon waiting for them 3 days in a row, it would have been nice to get a courtesy saying they were not going to make it, instead i waited up and my husband called only to be told they were not going to make it. Finally after waiting up 3 days in a row they sent someone to pick it up. Almost a week later i get back my truck dirty, full of sand, full of smoke smelling like weed with ash in the front. I had to be at work in a few hours and was NOT able to go through the gate on base like that so i called and complained and left the truck to air out for 3 hours and they came to pick it up. The scratches were still there plus more, there was no sign it had been painted, just taken out for the weekend. It looked like it was in an accident and the front end was not put together correctly, a huge gash was on the side wall of the tire and wires are exposed. They detailed it and took all my items in the doors, center console behind the screen and in the back.Not that it was expensive stuff but the fact that they took it and didn’t give it back, i told the gm that even though they slapped wax on it, the scratches were deep and were going to resurface after a few washed, which did. I told them to pay as much as i did for this grand wagoneer i would think i would not have to go through all this. Well i took it to the body shop i know well and they had been pretty busy and they asked for conformation to make sure that the dealership was going to pay for the repairs for sure and im still waiting., i have not heard anything and i guess its because paperwork was signed for the sale and they do t want to deal with it. I should have bought from out of town like i usually do to avoid all the problems.”
