“★☆☆☆☆ – Extremely Disappointed – Beware Before Buying Here Unfortunately I can’t give zero stars, or I would. We purchased a used truck from Security Dodge in mid-September, a Ram 1500 and it has been nothing but an absolute nightmare ever since. The showroom and attentive sales people were the absolute epitome of “smoke and mirrors” to this pathetic dealership. The truck showed major electrical problems within days of leaving the dealership — issues that should have been caught during any basic dealer intake inspection. The truck has now been stuck in there service department for over three weeks (and counting), and I’ve received zero transparency, zero communication, zero calls back /accountability, and zero urgency from anyone there. Additionally, despite the vehicle being with there service department for weeks, they refused to provide a loaner vehicle. Only after I physically went down to the dealership in person did they mention a possible a partial (unsubstantiated to date) reimbursement for the rental I was forced to get out of my own pocket. Even that possible restitution came extremely begrudging and without reimbursable specifications. Throughout this entire ordeal, I’ve been given multiple completion dates that have all come and gone, with no proactive communication whatsoever. I’ve been calling every single day, and each time I’m told “someone will call you back” — but they never do. Half the time, they can’t even tell me the current status of my truck. I must also include that I was forewarned prior to purchasing here that this dealership was known for its awful customer service and overall poor customer satisfaction. Lesson learned! This dealership’s customer service is beyond appalling and their follow-through is nonexistent. Once they’ve sold you the car, you’re on your own. If you value business integrity, a shred of honesty and basic communication, do yourself a favor and take your business and money elsewhere. Security Dodge has shown me exactly how a dealership should not treat a customer — and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.”

“Dianna in the service department was AWESOME!! Drove out to Long Island to pick up a motorcycle. When I hooked up the U-Haul trailer at the Long Island location, the lights on the trailer did not work. Apparently the computer in the Jeep needed to be "flashed" by a Jeep dealership in order to activate the tow package. I didn't want to have to make a second trip back to NY. I found Security Dodge was 10 minutes away. Explained my situation to Dianna. She had my car brought into the shop within 15 minutes. The technician flashed the system. Everything worked except the running lights. After over an hour he figured out it was a blown fuse. Replaced it and everything tested fine. Went back to U-Haul, got the trailer and brought the bike home to NJ. Thanks again Dianna!! I hope the dealership realizes what an excellent employee she is!!”

“This was the best experience we have had buying a new car. They didn’t play that stupid game about going to talk to the manager 3 or 4 times to see what they could do. They didn’t do it at all. We were greeted by Blake the salesperson. We talked for a little while as he showed us what we were looking at. And then immediately the manager Rob came over and after a brief discussion he came to a price we all could live with. Highly recommend Rob and Blake from this dealership. Great experience. Love the car. And love that we were treated with respect. I couldn’t ask for more.”
