“I was able to come in right away late in the afternoon to have my vehicle diagnosed by Ron Carter Chevrolet GMC in Alvin, Texas. Then I was able to bring the vehicle back the next day to have it repaired. They were very professional and polite throughout the entire process. We are very pleased with the service they performed and will definitely return when other issues arise to have my vehicle serviced. Thank you for taking such good care of us.”

“I originally reached out to a service advisor to get an appointment to bring my vehicle in to check the transmission as I was given several indications that it was going bad. The service advisor I reached stated he’d call me back because he was with a customer. He never called back.
A couple hours later I just drove in and met with James Rushing. I told him my main concern of the car semi stalling as I accelerate to a faster speed especially when climbing a hill. I also stated that when put in gear the car jumps as if it’s missing the gear, transmission need be checked.
I also asked if it was possible to disconnect Stabili Tract system in that the sensor light stays on and I didn’t feel I need it for as long as it’s been not working. I had already had it diagnosed and was aware the sensor had gone bad, can it be disconnected. I was told it would be a $189
Diagnostic fee and if the work was done there that fee would disappear.
Mr Rushing called me the next day with a list of items that was recommended and has yet to address the Transmission issue that’s going on with my car. When I asked to see everything in writing that he was suggesting I authorize for repairs, he said he had sent it in the email. I told him all that he was saying needed done was not showing up. He said he’d screen shot and send it to me., not admit at the moment that he didn’t know how to add some items to the link. Mr. Rushing advised me I needed to repair $4,338.33 worth of items which was exaggerated.
I immediately went to get my car and then because I gave no warning and declined they work on anything pertaining to my vehicle, Mr. Rushing gave me a bill of $616.99 for diagnostic fees. He said to me then, well, it’s $189.99 per item we check but on the invoice it was stating a complimentary multi point vehicle inspection and report. I exclaimed I am not paying that and I need a manager. He brought another Service guy over acting like a manager with a bit more expertise of of Shystieness. He told me as if he was doing me a favor that they’d waive the other fees this one time. Then they rang me up for $190.00 plus a 3% surcharge for using my credit card. Totaling $195.70.
Mr Rushing also made an unprofessional remark by saying my brother talks to much as he was engaging friendly conversation with the other service guy.
This was piss poor service and I don’t advise that service department for anyone. I have an extended warranty insurance by endurance and for everything that was stated wrong, it was not all even submitted to Endurance.”

“We had an excellent buying experience with Andre at Ron Carter GMC. They have the best selection of 2500HD AT4 trucks that I was able to find in the H-Town area. Andre, Sam, and the staff stayed late for us. Great energy and no hassle. The hardest part was choosing a color! We are returning customers: this is our second vehicle from Ron Carter. My wife and I are very pleased.”
