“I'll be honest, my husband and I were DREADING the absolutely dealership experience, but our daughter needed a solid car. Carriage Kia did such a fantastic job selling us a Seltos that we actually came back the same week to ditch my BMW for a Telluride (with a million nicer features.) Cody, Marc, and Jimmy Hendrix were the dream team. They valued our time and did not play any games. Cody gave candid feedback on each model that helped us narrow it down to the Telluride we ultimately purchased, Marc gave us straight forward numbers, and Jimmy Hendrix got us in and out and managed to provide an enjoyable experience at checkout. “I purchased my car from Carriage Kia of Alpharetta in March, 2025 and had my first service here in December. Until now, my experience with sales and service had been generally positive. On January 16, I brought my car in for a free car wash. After the wash, I noticed multiple minor scratches on the rear and left side of the car. I am particular about my car’s condition and do not recall seeing these scratches prior to this visit. I immediately raised the concern with the service advisor and later with the manager. To their credit, both came out and inspected the scratches and took me to the wash area to explain how the automatic wash system works. They showed that the system mainly uses water and soft flaps and also showed the drying towel. At the time, I did not directly point to the towel as the cause. However, after observing the scratches and thinking it through, I believe the scratches may have occurred during manual drying with a used microfiber towel that may have had dirt or debris on it. This seems more consistent with the type and pattern of scratches I’m seeing. Unfortunately, despite the inspection, the concern was denied without any resolution, which was disappointing. Even if responsibility is unclear, I expected more acknowledgment or a customer-oriented approach. I am posting this review to share my experience and to encourage more care during the drying process, especially for customers who value their vehicle’s condition. “Just recently bought my very first Kia from Carriage Kia of Alpharetta. My husband and I drove over an hour to see a specific trim level. We arrived late and it was very clear certain employees didn't want to deal with us (even though we called and were told to continue in) James however jumped up and offered to help us immediately. He was amazing from start to finish and we appreciated his willingness to stay a little late to make a sell. Unfortunately the vehicle we called about had sold before we arrived. James helped find a similar vehicle and we worked out a deal to pull it from a nearby dealership. Jimmy from finance was really easy to work with and we had great casual conversations while finishing the deal. The owner even made sure I was being well taken care of multiple times. At no point did I feel pressured into anything which is very rare for buying a car. We had previously looked at another Kia dealership and left due to back and forth negotiations and getting nowhere.
