I have a mixed review - all buyers need to read the contract carefully. When I bought my F150 in April of 2024 I got a great price and had a good experience. While in the finance office, I discovered that Sons puts a GPS tracker on the vehicles. I asked about the $600 line item and that is what the finance manger explained to me. They say it is a "safety" device, but for whatever reason, it tracks you through the service they want you to buy. I did not sign up for their service, just ate the $600. 6 months later, my battery is dead due to the parasitic drain from the tracker. They replaced the battery in Oct of 2024. Now, due to this GPS tracker drain, my battery is draining fast again. I am calling Ford corporate to see if I can get relief and have the tracker removed. Son's wanted another $600 to remove it.

Bought a used truck in December 2025 yes used high mileage. I get it is as is. I'm 95% sure they knew the truck has transmission issues. They didn't act surprised at all when I told them about it. I took it for a test drive for it up to 50 mph and didn't show issues a day after I took ownership the transmission started slipping at 35 mph I would not recommend going there for anything. I only rated one star because I can't rate negative stars

When I first moved to Auburn, I took my Navigator to Son’s for service and was extremely disappointed. I swore I would not take it back there again. Then I met Garrett, one of the service managers, and he let me know that there had been some significant changes and asked me to give them another chance. I did and I could not be any more pleased with my last two service visits to Son’s Lincoln. Garrett stays on top of things, keeps me well-informed, and makes sure (in my mind) that all the work is completed in a timely manner and is done completely and correctly. Great Job at a service - and customer - turnaround.

First time going to Sons of Ford in Auburn to get my Ford Expedition checked out. They texted me about their valet service. I was so happy that they offered the service since I had my son home with me from preschool and the service guy told me it would take 4plus hour. Didn’t want to sit there for 4plus hour with my busy toddler, So I figured I would use the valet service. They texted me that they would be arriving at 9:30 am to pick my car up. Well they came an hour. Which should have been a sign. I told them I needed the car by 1:30 so I could pick up my kids from school. I called at 1:30 and the service department told me the car was done they were just waiting on the valet service to pick it up. Didn’t hear anything from them for another 30 minutes so I called again and the service guy Ian instead of helping me told me that I should have brought the car in myself. Well duh… I didn’t have a car to pick my kids up from school. I had to literally run to school to get my kids. This experience made me never ever want to buy ford and or go to this Service department again. Very unprofessional. Worst experience EVER.

Thank you Mr. Mitchell! and the rest of the team at Sons Ford for making the process of purchasing the new to me vehicle, that I sure do appreciate, smooth and easy. The vehicle exceeded my hopes, but not too much, while staying realistic to my standards. Thank you again and I look forward to having my car maintained with you guys! 🙂
